“You still don’t want to tell me where you are working” 
That was Vivian being inquisitive of my working place

I turned around and smiled

“Vivian, you don’t have to worry. I thought we have discussed this earlier”

I looked at my watch

“I have to hurry okay, am almost late”

She looked at me as if not believing what I am saying

It’s not her fault, I am really lying

I hugged her with a smile

“Don’t miss me much; I will soon be back before you know it okay”

She hugged me back and slipped ‘minimie chin chin’ in my bag

I laughed at the gesture

“You never seize to amaze me, Vivian”

“Well that’s the least I can do to repay your goodness to me”

“Look at me” she said turning around for me to see

“I am always neat, my house is always in order, and my kids now go to school on time and with happy face”

I looked at her smiling

“Most importantly look at me, my shape is coming back. I have reduced my eating habit . My husband now looks at me with one eye”

We laughed at her last statement

Sylvia interrupted us

“Jamila, let’s go, it’s almost 7:30 and you know the traffic is bad”

Ooppss, I forgot Sylvia, is waiting for me

I turned to Vivian and hugged her

“Catch you later Okay, byee”

She patted my back like a small child before we disengaged from the hug

I joined Sylvia in her car and we drove off

“You mean Mrs. Castle”

“And what did you tell her”

“As usual I dodged the question, I don’t know how she will feel if she finds out am working under the husband. She might feel bad”

“Yea that’s true, but you never told me why you decided to work there of all places. I know I supported you working but not under him, that might bring a mix up”

“Yea yea maybe, but not until I finish my work there. Do you know the last time I almost get into a fight with one little girl that came looking for him. She was dressed like a harl-t with a heavy makeup”

“Really” Sylvia commented

“You were fighting her as whom” she asked with sarcasm

I eyed her

“As his wife’s friend and his secretary” I answered her back with the same sarcasm tone

“Hey, come on girl we are not fighting” she replied laughing her ass off

“You know I will always support you, right now I need to commend you; you have really done a great job with Castle’s family, they don’t fight as usual now. The compound is now calm even in the morning”

I smiled at her compliment; at least she notices how hard I have worked these three months I have been with them

“Wow, don’t tell me you are blushing”

Sylvia says knocking me out of my dream

I blushed

“And here we are” She announces parking the car in front of the company gate

“Thank you for saving my transport fare these days”

“You are most welcome, any day any time and don’t forget about the date with Styxx” Sylvia said giving me her mischievous smile

“I won’t, besides it’s just a date”

“You always forget and he always reports to me”

“Okay I promise never to forget”

With that settled, I bid her farewell as she drove off to her working place not five minutes’ drive from her

A soft knock on my door made me look up from the files I was going through

“Yes, can I help you” I asked still busy sorting the files

“Well, yes you can” a deep baritone voice answered

“Wait, that voice sounds familiar”

Oh my God, Styxx” I shouted immediately I raised up my head 

“Yes that’s me. Sylvia said I can find you here” he said still standing

I laughed at his gesture

“Are you trying to be a gentle man, sit down joor”

He smiled and sat down

“So why are you here” I asked 

“Check your time”

I scuffed

Oh crap, its 4:40 pm already

Work closes by 2:00 and am to go on a date with Styxx by 4:00

“Am really sorry, work has been something else”

I packed up everything and went out with him

“That’s my babe” he said happy that I did not give excuse this time

At the eatery

We were eating silently after thirty minutes of joking with each other

We kept quiet cus other people around have been looking at us as if we were weird 

At last I decided to ask him the question that have been bugging since

“Styxx” I called

“Yes baby” he answered, a mischievous smirk on his face 

“I need to ask you a question” I said keeping my face serious so that he will understand that this is really serious 

“Wow, what’s with the face. Okay what is it, am listening”

“Do you think it is proper for me to tell Mrs. Castle where I am working?”
