I still can't believe the old man prefers to live in this ten-bedroomed mansion all alone...

But how can I blame him when it is impressed with a plethora of luxurious features, has an in-house night club and a gold plated indoor pool with an underwater music system...

That's crazy right????

And that's not all, there is tennis court, a golf area, a private helipad and a garage space for twenty cars and it's always full...I can't wait to own my estate someday where Vivian and I will grow old...

Unlike the other underground bosses, I will be faithful and only have eyes for her...

I will treat her so right that the wives of the other underground bosses' will die of envy...

Just before I could knock on the door to the old man's office, a pretty young girl who I believe was his toy for the night opened the door licking her lips...

"The master will see you now...."
"I hope I didn't interrupt anything????"

"Of course not....The master already gave me my morning dose...."

My body cringed just thinking about what she meant...Gross!!!So gross!!!

"Good morning dad, I hope there isn't any problem????" I sank gracefully on the leather sofa beside him...

"Did the bastard say anything useful????" 
The old man barely smiles or laughs...He is always wearing this mask of steel....

"When I left he was already a bag of bleeding flesh, I am sure he will speak in no time...." I leaned back and placed the ankle of my left leg on my right knee...

"Are you sure Hitler will do a good job????"

"I am sure we will have the name of who had the balls to attack you in no time...."

"Okay!!!And the deal????"

"I got it, you know no one has the guts to say no to Nicholas Kame..."

"I know you can never let me down son unlike that Fool Richard who has made it his life mission to disappoint me..." He said between clenched teeth...

"Maybe in rehab, they will slap some sanity in him...."

"Let's hope so...Anyway I didn't call you here to chitchat, I have an important task for you..."

"What is it????"

"I need you to get married within three months...You are taking over the empire in an year and before that I want you settled.."

"There is no problem dad, I will propose to Vivian today or even right now if you ask me to...."

"I don't want you to marry Vivian Rio...."He stated in a tone bleeding with command...

"But...."

"I was giving you time to have some fun with her and I am afraid it is over.."

"I don't understand????"

"I don't want you getting married to a girl that belongs to the underworld. What if one day she turns against you and takes away everything we have worked so hard for?????You know his brother Ghana Rio hates this alliance???"The rawness in his words was like a knife between my ribs...

"She is not like that dad...She would never betray me...." 

"I want you to marry an ordinary girl from a good family who has no idea of how the underworld works or you forget about taking over the empire..." His eyes reflected cold blooded menace..

I had worked so hard to get where I was and the thought of losing everything scared me...

I vowed to never return to the streets again and I was gonna make sure it remained that way...

"Do you have any girl in mind???" The words grated my throat so forceful that I felt something tear inside me..

"You are a smart man, figure that out...."

"And Vivian how do I tell her about this???"

Just thinking of how this news would hurt Vivian broke my heart into two... 

"Are you ten Nicholas???You don't ask me how to fuck her so don't ask me about silly questions...Are we clear????"

"Yes sir!!!!" I  stood from the sofa, the ache on my chest unbearable...

"Don't forget to inform me when the bastard talks!!!!"

"I will sir...." 

As I stood on the first stair Infront of the mansion, I reached for my phone in my pocket and called Hilter...

"Any news???!"

"Gana junior was the one who sent him to kill the boss...He wanted to get revenge for his father's death..."

"For a moment I thought The Jihos had decided to bite the hands that feeds them..." 

"They wouldn't dare pull such a stunt...They know if you play with fire, you will get burned...Anyway what did the old man want????"

"You won't believe what he asked me to do..." I heaved a frustrated sigh...

"Is it that bad????"

"Let's meet at the club later and I will tell you everything...You know what to do with that fool, see you later...."

"Okay!!!!"

I walked to the garage, got into my BMW and drove out of the place I didn't want to  be in right now...

The underworld is so fucked up...I hated what the old man asked of me but he had a point..

Ghana Rio wasn't happy that two bosses were running the streets and if it were upto him, he would have killed the old man long time ago...

And knowing Vivian, if her brother told her to jump instead of questioning him she would ask  how high???

I can't believe I am agreeing with the old man's plan...If you want to survive in the underworld it's always reason over emotions or else you would never survive..
