I acted all normal and hurriedly wiped off the droplets of tears I managed to produce. That was by far the most romantic thing I've heard all my life. It was trouble for me because it came from my ex lover.
I was not developing any form of feelings for him though but I was really close to doing that, Francis sure had his way with words. This was the devil and I made a mistake by picking the call. I tried to act all normal so Nonso would not suspect a thing but it was too late.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
I didn't know what to say, I didn't think he'd find out so easily and I was not ready to tell him about Francis.
Nonso looked cool today, with his sky blue shirt and his designers shoe, I could jump on him to kiss him.
I got up, "Nothing is wrong baby boo, I was just thinking about the wedding that's all", I said.
"Really?", He asked like he wasn't going to buy my lie.
"Yeah, really." I replied, he bought it.
He sat on my bed, took off his shoes and laid down properly. I looked at him and knew he wanted me to join him. I smiled and walked as sexily as I could to the bed.
Nonso wasted no time in grabbing me by the waist and slowly kissing me.
I kissed him back of course, we were like that for minutes till it became really intense.
He kept doing things that made me want his masculinity so badly, the first and only time we had sex, I enjoyed every bit of it, I wanted it again but he wasn't yielding, so I unbuckled his belt and reached down there myself, took his already hard m-hood and started stroking it, he liked it, I could tell. I continued for about ten seconds and a thought of Francis came to my head.
I soon found myself making out with Nonso and thinking of Francis, it was wrong, I knew but I couldn't help it, it felt good.
The doorbell rang and we stopped.
It was Uju and Amaka, they were back from work.
"Hey girls, you're just in time for dinner", I heard Nneka tell them while Nonso and I adjusted our dresses and prepared to go out of my room and into the dining room.
Dinner was as usual, wonderful, Amaka was really giving me the "Exquisite bride to be" treatment, I totally enjoyed it.
It was a jovial dinner but somehow, my mind kept going back to what Francis said, I had flashbacks to lovable memories of us and I couldn't help but start thinking if I didn't still love him.
It was around eight pm and Nonso was already gone and it was time to have the discussion with the girls.
I was scared because we all hated him and I didn't know how they'll react when I tell them I still loved him.
"I saw Francis today", I announced.
"Mtcheeeew", Amaka hissed, she knew I saw him because she was there when he walked in on us, "so that is why you've been moody all evening!" She concluded.
Just then my phone rang. I felt like I knew who it was, and yes, you know who.
It was Francis.
I had to thread carefully, because I knew a cheat will always be a cheat and although I felt Francis had turned a new leaf, I didn't feel it was genuine.
