Remi wished Daruma would stop for a second to tell him what he knew but first, he had to catch up to him. Daruma eventually slowed down giving Remi the opportunity to catch up to him. "You have to tell me the clue to finding the shrine." Remi demanded. Daruma pointed to a lush green Field covered in flowers. Remi remembered he mentioned flowers but never thought the answer was in front of them . "Her shrine is this field?" Remi asked. "Yes." Daruma responded. They both examined around. It was indeed a shrine. Some vines had hidden the offering pot and her built statue. Now all they had to do was appease Aja. After an afterthought, Remi and Daruma knew their answer. The needed sacrifice. There was little time to find a small animal to offer to Aja. "We have to go hunting." Remi stated before his medallion glowed. Remi fell to the ground as a flash hit him. It was a vision. In the vision, He witnessed the last torch burn out. He heard the creatures coming closer and one thing was sure. There was going to be bloodshed. "No!" Remi wailed. "What?!" Daruma asked in concern. "There is no time to look for a sacrificial animal. My people are being attacked as we speak." Remi answered. Daruma went into a trance state as his new occupant whispered to him

. "We need blood." Daruma said, sounding supersure of his idea. "Human blood?" I asked to be sure. "Not really. Seelenwchter told me a god's blood is highly aknowledged." Daruma replied." It shows submission." Remi did not care who had to beg to save them. People were saying and there was no time. He slit his wrist and let blood flow into the dust ridden pot. Flowers surrounding the pot began to grow as the offering pot lit up. The ground began to crumble sending Daruma and Remi flying. It was almost as if the shrine was collapsing. However, it was much more than that. A great light descended from the heavens and hit the earth sending arrays of rainbow light sparking and from the rising dust, Remi saw the physique of a woman. Was it Aja?

Ajoke and those surrounding her feared for their lives as the growls got louder and more terrifying. The hands of soldiers trembled as they held the last thing that could ensure their survival, their weapons. Out of the blues, a creature leapt out of the shadows and went for a soldiers neck. Almost immediately, thousand of creatures came into view as their canines glittered in the light of the moon. "Charge!" Gbonka screamed and went to battle. It then dawned to Ajoke that she had to run. She took to her heels without thinking. The forest had to be a deathtrap as Ajoke ran to it, her eyes focused on a huge orange tree. She doubted the creatures could climb, their bodies were much to huge to do that, she assumed as she climbed the tree. A scratch on her leg informed of her terrible mistake. She brought herself as a living feast to the beast. She ignored the stinging pain and climbed up the tree. When she was high enough, she took her time to see if the creature could climb. Her clumsy judgement was right for once. The creature tried climbing but always slipped back to the ground at each attempt. It eventually gave up and disappeared. Ajoke was wise enough not to come down. A man dressed in a black regelia just appeared from nowhere. Ajoke thought at first that he must be running for his life but the flaming crown on his head and the sinister look on his eyes assured her this man wasn't human. She had to tread with caution. "Who are you?" She asked. The man did not look up as he answered her question. "A god, a demon. I am Esu, the god of choice." He answered. Why are you here?" "Glad you asked. But I don't answer to mere mortals." Having said that, a malevolent look plastered his face and he spoke to Ajoke. "Meet you in the afterworld." His hands suddenly burst in flames and he touched the tree. Like a Candlewick, the tree caught fire as well. The man turned and disappeared leaving in his place, ashes. Ajoke panicked. She was going to die. The talisman on her neck could not save her anymore. She had used up it's power. The fire kept licking the wet wood and was getting to her fast. "Help!" She yelled. No one could hear her. They were in a battle for their lives. A battle she had abandoned. She cried as the flames kept rising higher to roast her alive. Why me? What did I do to deserve this? The flames were close now. She could feel it's heat and was sweating profusely. The end was near. Was it? The talisman on her neck suddenly let out a white glow. "What is happening?" Ajoke asked herself. It was like the answer was on the tip of her tongue. It was like it was begging her to scream. She did it. She screamed. Her sheiek erupted around the forest as a bright light covered her body entirely from the flames. Ajoke watched herself fly. She was a bird. An eagle. She flapped her wings like she had known how to do it forever. She was far away from the burning tree when she descended to the ground. The talisman stopped glowing and her human form was restored. Did she just shift? She held the talisman in her her hands and wondered what other secrets it had. *** Adetoye watched the slut who turned out to be a Noble's daughter dress up. " You thinking about undressing me again?" She whispered. He?, Adetoye wondered. He was definitely done with her. He did need to butter her up to get her father's seal. She was so gullible that she didn't even question what agenda he had in mind for the seal. "Yes baby." He lied. He walked up to her and kissed her in delicate places. "Don't forget the seal." He whispered into her ear before biting at it. With Adetoye, all of Tope's senses were thrown away. All she wanted was to make him happy and if he needed one of Daddy's seal. So what? She would get it in a heartbeat. "Sure." She replied and took her leave. Adetoye was being coronated the next day and his big plan was in motion. He took out the "kill the king" note he had forged and brought out Adewale's seal. His dumb stepbrother had left it in the open where he had stolen it. He dabbed the seal in animal blood and hit it on the paper. The result was beautiful,His brother's initials. By nightfall, he would have gotten Tope's father's seal and his plan would be complete. He could hardly wait for tomorrow. He imagined the crown on his head, the people chanting his name and of course he needed a bride. Tope would do just nicely. He held a smile on his face as those warm thoughts filled his head, at least, his definition of warm thoughts. Knock! Knock! Those irritating bangs at the door woke Adetoye up. He went to the door to open it and was greeted by a warm smile. It was Tope and oh dear, she was with her father's seal. He took her to the room after collecting the seal and did to her some wicked things. It made her tired that she sleep after the act. When Adetoye noticed she was asleep. He crept out of the bed and into his dressing room to carry out his sinister plans. He clumsily dipped the seal into blood and signed the letter. His plan was complete. He planned on returning both seals tomorrow to cover up his tracks and of course destroy his brother and an innocent man who he just disliked. Adetoye liked this game. He liked it a lot. Especially when he was the puppeteer who called the shots.

Power, they say corrupts. The man who said those words must have experienced it. Too much power, that destroys people. Adeola focused on another tree and made it explode. She had been doing this since the day she sold her soul for outworldly powers. The training was getting tiring. "Aje, why can't I just skip this and go to the dark arts." She asked. "No!" Aje's answer was supreme. "You need to learn the basics first. Even with your powers, you can't disobey the laws of nature. They have effect on the circle of things." "But I'm so good at this." Adeola said in high hopes of getting another spell. "Practice." Aje sent. Adeola was going to do just that when she started jerking. It was a vision. In her vision, she witnessed Ayetoro surrounded by fire. She saw her half brother, Adewale being executed. "What happened?" Aje asked Adeola when she finally opened her eyes. " It was another vision."" The future has changed." Adeola replied. " Then you have to train." Aje said more to herself than Adeola," perhaps it is time for you to learn the dark arts. Aje moved to a dark corner in the room and brought out a book. She handed it to Adeola. "Learn everything by heart." She advised before leaving Adeola to herself. Adeola flipped through the book pages and saw a spell that interested her the most. It was a death spell and according to the book. It was one of the dangerous spell a witch could cast as it could cause unbalance. It interested her. She drew a vivid mental picture of her casting such a terrible spell on Adetoye and watching him beg for his life. It was definitely a sight she was going to cherish. She immediately started reading on it. Indeed, darkness was indeed creeping into her and she loved it. *** The light finally disappeared and a clear view of the selfish goddess who plagued her people. "You," she began walking like a model." You offered sacrifice to me and I am pleased. State your wish." Remi put on a bold face as he approached the goddess. He was tempted to slash her right there but he was better fighting the urge off. "Remove the curse." He pleaded. "Are you sure?" The woman offered. "What else would I want?" Remi sent back. "The truth. Your mother, if she's still alive.

. I can tell you." She was getting to Remi. He did want to he truth. Infact, he wanted everything she offered. She was very cunning, he had to admit but he was not that selfish. " Just free the people." Remi replied, rejecting her offer. "Very well." She returned and waved her hand as it glowed. The sky returned to it's usual bright blue and white color as the sun shone and sent Ray's of light around the earth. The goddess walked up to Remi and spoke, "You hate me now but, you will become like me soon. You will make a choice." "What choice?" Remi asked but he was too late. She was gone. (Which choice do you think She was referring to?)
