Dangerous Romance - Episode 4

 

Steve After taking my bath i decided to call Joe.B to find out how far he has gone with the investigation while going through my call log a message came.

It's Nancy ,

"you are picking me at 6am tomorrow i have a meeting to attend and am going without my sisters."

earlier today was a slap and now commanding me on when i should wake up.

Who does she think she is?? few seconds another message this time from Vera i open to read when i heard footstep climbing the stairs.

Those steps are not familiar and not my mum's.

We are in danger i said to myself.

I search in my room for weapon to defend myself.

I found a metal rod which was used for my windows the leftovers i take one.

The footstep is closer my breath changed from normal to higher, i hide behind my door to hit him when he enters my room but to my disappointment he rather change direction to my mothers room.

I slowly open my door and see the back of a tall muscle man in a mask entering mothers room. No i must act fast, Steve you are a man. 

I encourage myself. . I tiptoe quickly to my mum room there stands the tall man removing a handkerchief and white substance, he pour in the handkerchief the substance and send it closer to my mum nose.

I walk faster as my legs can carry me to his back and hit his head with the metal but it seem he is resistance to pain he drop the substance and handkerchief turning to face me i hit him again at his neck he still stands.

I raise the metal to hit him again but he grab the metal in the air with his left arm, i am left with no other option to fight him.

He raise his right hand to hit me but i was quick enough i throw a punch on his nose i can feel a lose hands on the metal am holding.

B?lood oozing from his head and nose he stammer trying to scream but his throat failed him and falls on the ground.

"son are you hurt"

scanning her eyes all over my body

"Am fine mother, we need to get out of here now he may not be alone."

"who is he and why does he want to harm us?"

"we don't have enough time mum"

I send mother to my room.

"You have to stay here mum i will be right back."

"Steve don't go they will kill you."

That the first time she is calling me by my name Steve

"I will be my fine"

i lock the door and goes back where the unconscious man i undress him and wear his clothes and mask but there is blood in the cloth, i know what to do.

I crane my head downstairs and see another man standing there.

Time to act Steve I walk down stairs to meet him.

"Boss you kept long"

he said I gesture to him to go and he leads the way while we both departed from the house.

Outside the house there is another man in a car waiting for us.

I quickly jumped to the back site while the other man goes to the front passengers site.

"Go go"

Said in a dip voice But Boss where day the woman.

I think because of the darkness they didn't see the blood in the cloths am wearing, i have to change my language and speak theirs.

"she no day the room, i search everywhere for am way i go meet some young man for one room i kill am."

"But sir that no day the plan top"

"Waitin you won make i do, if i no kill am he go call the police"

I have to escape from this people before they get to their destination.

In check outside and spot a pharmacy store at the other side of the road.

"Make you stop the car"

i said.

He did as i ordered am acting perfect.

"Make i buy drugs for there i go be back now" 

I got down from the car still wearing my mask on.. I have to remove my mask before those at the store calls the police to arrest me..

. I walk few distance from the car and gesture to the car to go i will be with them later.. They didn't say anything all i see is that, they were obeying me like am God to them.

I stand there to watch until the their car is seen no more I remove the mask.

I check and found the man phone in the pocket i quickly dialed Joe.B number .. Hi this is Steve . 

I said immediately he picks the call

"Steve are you alright "

he said. Am not fine, pick me at kasoa road Marko Pharmacy. thank God i pour more of the substance on the mam, that will keep him unconscious for long.

twenty minutes later Joe.B arrived he takes me home, on our way i told him everything that happened.

When we got home the the kidnapper was still unconscious my mum was pacing in and fro of the room but when she saw me she hug me.

"Son are you hurt."

"Am fine mum"

"welcome my son"

she said to Joe.B.

"mum, you need to rest they are gone and everything is in control"

After Job.B and i have tied the man up in the guest room mother went to her room to rest and Joe.B and i also in my room.

I changed the kidnapper cloth and takes my bath.

"Steve don't tell me you are after your boss daughterdaughter."

Joe.B said what do you mean look at this.

Giving me my phone.. i was confused when i saw the message Vera send.

Does she feel the same way i feel for her.

I don't think so .

"maybe she mistakenly sent it"

i said man you better watch your back, that minister is dangerous than the devil himself.. Early in the morning Nancy gets ready waiting for Steve to take her to work.

Steve and Joe.B are busy torturing the kidnapper to tell them who sent him.. Mr Gumbo or what so ever you call yourself you better speak up or .... Joe. B or watin, beat me, kill me, watin better you won do.

He said.

Steve plugs a heater and show to him . Now listen Mr. Man, if you think we are joking here this device here i hope you what it is am going to insert it in your flesh if you don't speak. "those men you came with are already in police custody so you better speak or spend the rest of your life in hell." Fear start to overcome Gumbo.

"I go speak"

"You better do"

 Joe.B said

"for me this be my work i day my own way one friend call me tell me say he get work from someone but he day travel outside the country so he won make i go do for am."

"where you sent to kidnap my mother"

"Yes, he talk say after i kidnap am make i call he go send me where i go drop her.. "

Good, now we are going to call him you pretend you have kidnapped her.

They called the persons number but was unavailable.

They tried several times was unavailable.. Steve let leave him when we get the truth we will hand him over to the police.

"The person behind this is the same person who sent you the message to sell your mothers land"

Oh God, why didn't i even think about the message.??

"Fu-k, man it almost 7 am late for work"

Steve said.

"let go i will drop you at the minister house."

" Thank you"

Steve and Job.B leaves .

NOw Steve is going to meet Nancy the tiger. He is already late and Nancy have a meeting to attend at 6:30. What will happen to Steve. the next episode will review more to this story....
