Sorry guys I had few challenges posting episode 7

The light out and some stuffs .

So the episode 7 contains the continuation of episode 7

 

Recap 

Vera and Steve were still at Steve private place under the bamboo. 

 

Vera

He raised his eyebrows with a smile i wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my head on his soft chest. 

I felt his hands rubbing my back slowly. 

"We need to go" he said after releasing me from his hold..

I didn't want to go even though the place will be scary in the dark I feel protected around him. 

I was  dragged out of my thoughts when he carried me on his hands. 

I wrapped my hands around his neck while he walked to where we packed the car. 

"I have to pick your sis from the office" he said after dropping me at the front passengers site. 

" have this you must be hungry" he said stretching a chocolate to me. 

Does he reads my mind because I was hungry and didn't expect he will notice it. 

" Why did you breakup with her"? I asked 

He seem shocked hearing my question. Are my talking too much 

Maybe he doesn't like talking when driving  

"she cheated on me " he said 

He didn't smile nor look at my face 

I placed my left hand on his right lap. 

"Do you still love her?" He frown his face a bit on hearing that. 

"Not anymore" he said  

Did I spoil his mood??

"You didn't, I just don't like talking about my past " 

Did it came from my mouth. 

We got to the office, Nancy pacing in and fro of the compound when the security man opened the gate for us. 

Steve got out of the car to receive her bag which belongs to me. 

" How many times should I remind you i hate waiting for people "  Nancy said 

I can't stand her been rude to Steve anymore. 

"sorry M-am" he said but Nancy walk away from him to the car in an angry manner 

"Where did you go with him" ?? She asked me in an authority manner 

Should I tell her?? No, my sis is dangerous in disguise 

She can do anything to stamble my happiness .

"I called him to pick me at the supermarket" I lied 

But do I have to explain everything to her?? 

"Have you started flirting around with a common driver" 

"whatever you will call it, I don't have strength for your troubles" 

"Maybe you're also thinking of flirting around with him, " she laughed in a disgusting way. 

She wanted to talk when Steve entered the car. 

He spark the engine and zoom off from there. 

In the car, there was silence I took my phone going through designer's cloth on the internet. 

I need to look good on my birthday, I have not celebrated my birthday for ten years 

My father has never want me celebrate birthday because my birthday is a sad day to him, he claims the day I was born on, that same day my mother died  

 

Sorry mother, may your soul rest in perfect peace. 

I hope Steve will like the clothes I got for him for my birthday. 

I expect him to wear it on that day to prove his love for me.

Does he feels the same way I feel for him.??

 

Steve 

Going to my secret happiness place with  Vera was awesome. 

Her beautiful natural face was perfect for a natural place like that..

One our way to the office she slept in the car mentioning my name and saying 

Don't go away from me. 

How will I go away from you when all my happiness lies in you. 

I still haven't found who sent that man to kidnapped my mum. 

Here I am falling for the wrong person, someone who's status is directly opposite my. 

I dropped them at the house. 

I turned to leave when Vera called me to send her shopping bags to her room. 

In her room, I placed the bags of clothes on her bed. 

I was leaving her room when she entered. 

"Thank you for today" she said with a smile. 

"It's my duty" I replied  

"Here, it yours wear it tomorrow for my birthday" 

I wanted to tell her I won't be available but she will not like  to hear me reject her offer  

"Thank you, I will take my leave " before I realize she hugged me from my back . 

" I am gonna missed you" she said after releasing me from her hold. 

"Me to" I said and walk away, I wish I could stay with her for long but that will be the end of my work

. I walk out of her room and didn't looked back to see either she will wave me. 

 

Whiles I was declining the stairs a voice called me. 

That was Nancy holding a bag containing cloths. 

"Here, it yours I bought for you as a Val gift Wear it on the Val day" 

"Thank you ma-am."

The Val's day is on the same day for Vera's birthday how will I wear this two gift on that same day..?? 

I said to myself after leaving the house.

I took a taxi to my house.. 

 

In the room the aroma of food hit my nose. I don't need a pastor to tell me mum is cooking. 

"Son welcome" my mother said from the kitchen

Mother sense my presence even when she sleeps. 

"Thank you mum but am hungry" I said with a loud voice 

"How is our  criminal doing?? I asked 

" Go check on him your food will be ready soon"

"I need to see my family they must be worried now" 

The kidnapper said when I entered his room. 

"Sorry, so you have a family ??  

Yes, two children and  wife. 

This man looks innocent. 

" Why are you doing this type of job"?? 

My father and mother was killed when I was 11 years this ring was given to me by my uncle before he died of heart attack. 

It contains the reason for my parents death and evident to prove my brother who is in jail innocent..

He was accused of killing my parents, he has been in prison for 19 years. 

The mystery of my past made me a murder and I am still seeking for revenge on the person who murdered my parents. 

"why haven't you prove your brother innocence since you have the evidence? 

" It not easy as you think "

" That person is very influential and he must have bought half of the police in this country with money. "

"And if those who killed your parents are dead?? 

He clinch his teeth.

" They can't die until I have killed them with my own hands  "

 

" Do you want to be released ??  

"If you don't want to release me let my family know am fine" 

"How can I be sure releasing you won't cause harm to me and my mother" 

"The few days I spent here you and your mother have been good to me" 

"Your mum has advised me enough am not going back to this kind of life again" 

"I decided to end this type of job after revenging my father's death" 

"How come you speak good English" ??  I asked him

" I am a university graduate my uncle took care of me when my parents died" 

"After school I didn't get a job to do, I have been writing applications to many companies but to no avail" 

I have to call Joe. B This man seems have been going through a lot. 

"What is your name ?? 

" Benjamin Appiah"

"Sorry man, I will get back to you. 

I didn't untied him I have to hear from Joe.B before doing that. 

I walked out to contact him and he promised to come over tonight. 

 

Who killed Benjamin parents and is he telling the truth ??

Will he harm Steve after he's been released  

Vera's Birthday is loading ooo 98% what will happen on the birthday??
