Steve pov's
After my conversation with Benjamin I called Joe.B and told him
Exactly what he told me.
He was shocked as I was when I heard his story, I partially trust him though but there is sign of remorse in him.
My mother told me earlier today that she knew Benjamin's parent, they were her neighbors at Akoto Village. By then Benjamin was very young he was about three years when mum lift the village to the city.
Later the day, Joe . B came and we both talked to Benjamin after we had released him.
He took his bath and I gave him cloth to put on.
We Invited Benjamin's family to our house for lunch, his wife to my amusement is a nurse at Ellison hospital.
His family were very happy to see him alive, he has two children a boy of about ten years and two years girl.
While lunch was in section, Benjamin's wife Mavis, told us more about her husband.
How they both met at the university and the challenges they've gone through.
Mavis parents threw her out of the house because of her refusal to stop dating Benjamin.
What motivated her to stay with him was that, Benjamin was brilliant and caring. He helped her do all her assignments and even cheated for her in one of their Biology exams.
After the meal, his wife helped mum to clear the table.
"Your wife must be hardworking" mum said
"she is" he replied
Mavis twinkled her eyes roguishly.
"We will like to take our leave" Benjamin said
"So soon" mum saïd
"I will be here tomorrow to see you Steve" he said
"Alright, you're always welcome" I said with a smile.
He carried his younger child on his shoulders while his wife holds the boy in her hands as I walk them to the door.
"No going back Benjamin," mum said with a loud voice when Benjamin opened the door to leave the house.
She is reminding him of his promise to live a better life.
" I heard you mum"

After seeing Benjamin and his family off
I and Joe. B went to my room.
"I am in a big trouble ooh". I said to him
I showed him the clothes Nancy and Vera gave me.
"Vera wants me to wear the clothes she bought for me to her birthday party tonight.
Nancy also wants me to wear hers on that same night as valentine gift.
" What do you think I do?? ""
"Because if I wear Vera's clothes I don't know how many times my face and my job will stand her slaps.
And wearing Nancy owns will create wrong impression in Vera's mind.
"This be wahala oo, man" he said
"Wear Vera's own while I wear Nancy's" he said taking one of the clothes.
"When will you make wise decision??
" Who even invited yo for the party "??
" Eii, Steve na so you dey. "
" You want to attend a party without me, your own man"
"What's your problem?? I need to figure out what to do before the next four hour" I said
We were in the room for almost three hours with no reasonable solution on which of the clothes I should put on.
Joe. B taped my shoulder to tell me something but I didn't change the position I was sitting.
"What is it"? I said
"I have a perfect plan" he said but I chuckled because I knew he won't say anything reasonable"
"The blue shirt matches both the down, so I think you wear Vera's own on top with her jacket and Nancy's trouser for the down."
" Yeah, that will be perfect combination" I said jumping to the bathroom..
In thirty minutes, Joe. B and I were ready for the party.
"Now am in Vera's and Nancy cloths at the same time.
After checking my reflection in the mirror, I saw how handsome I am in the suit.
Am good to go I said ti myself .....
