Crime To Love - Episode 19
Chike had already taken his siesta and went out to the parlor to watch the AIT program when a knock came on the door. He reluctantly asked, “Who goes there come in”. onyeka opened the door and entered with four boys looking so rugged. Chike was astonished on seeing Onyeka and couldn’t believe that he could be so fast in arranging the boys. Chike really wanted the relationship between his sister and Cyril to get to a stop. But he never thought that Onyeka had something on why he was too fast in getting the boys he was asked to organize some hours ago.
He welcomes them and bought a bottle of Champaign which they drank like a thirsty marathon runner
. After some period of humor they started discussing business.
“Chike believe me these guys can do it perfectly” said Onyeka.
“I’m not concerned about how they will do it my concerned is safety, that is doing it without any traces” Chike put in.
“Of course that one is sure” he assured Chike.
Before the gate Cyril had already dropped Jennifer as usual and zoomed off. Jennifer was very happy entering the gate because they had a very wonderful fun there at the beach. Entering the gate she saw a car that Onyeka parked and even Chike should be in his office by that time; she signed heavily and minded her business

. But drawing closer to the door she started hearing some hushed discussion of some people inside the parlor. She peeped through the door and then went behind the window where she was getting everything they were saying. She opened her bag and brought out her phone; she started recording all their discussions.
“Chike the problem is where to get Cyril without any disturbance, you know invading his house would be very difficult because of that devilish giant dog.” Onyeka said
You are correct, going to his house will be so implicating, I think this deed has to be done along the road not even in any person’s house” Chike suggested.
“But don’t you have any hint of his movement, I mean his program for each day, you are supposed to know that, he is your very good friend”.
“Yes ---------- yes ---------- yes he should be travelling for a case to Enugu and he should be leaving in the morning. But I’m not quite sure of the time; I feel they will just lay ambush from early morning till 12noon.
“That’s okay; we have to be smart in anything we are about to doing”. “But if I may ask where you did get this people”
“Anyway I got them in Nepoli University; these are the officials in the snippers, Na them dey rule for campus, they can do it”. Said Onyeka
“Okay I have no problem with them, but let them know that no one messes up with me for anyone who fucks up and he is caught I will just deny the person, please be careful” Chike cautioned.
“Relax my guy we fit do am” one of the said
“So how much for the deal” Chike inquired.

Chike stood up and entered his room “He brought out one hundred and fifty thousand naira, and gave it to them. Jennifer was shocked in all she heard and saw; she was dumbfounded and ran out from the window when they were all laughing. Jennifer hid herself to know if she could identify one of them but couldn’t. She only saw Onyeka’s back. She cried bitterly hearing the discussion on her phone. It was then that she realized that Cyril was never Chike’s friend and that she concluded to go and report to the police. But when she came out of the gate she changed her mind and decided to go and distract Cyril on that day he should be travelling. That day she changed her destination to Cyril’s house. Every time she watches Cyril pitying him. This disposition of hers made Cyril uncomfortable and made him ask her so many questions which she has always refused to answer. Cyril then took it as one of those things girls do and he ignored her.
