Chioma - Episode 8

 

Chioma expected the stranger to cry, David is married, she was just a sl*t. She thought, but to her greatest dismay, the other, started laughing, Chioma frowned  at her, she even started talking to chioma like she was a kid......"  I can't believe, he stoop so low to marry a scumbag like you, you are so out of class my dear, so dull and(she laughs)...oh which new bride still wears a black and white pyjamas, I'll like to know what he saw in you, David won't kill me with laugh.

Chioma looked at her choice of clothes, she really did look dull, but coming from David's girlfriend she wasn't ready to agree with her. Who are you? she asked 

Ella!the stranger replied standing at akimbo, then she added...."my father, Davids laundry man, told me to come get his clothes.. . Seriously? Chioma asked surprised, all those insults were coming out from a dry cleaner's daughter. Imagine her! Chioma thought staring at Ella as if she was a piece of shit. She hated her guts right then.

Ella, I'm not doubting my dull aura, I'm out of class, yes but if David saw something in me that you don't have and married me, then fine, I prefer being dull and absurd. Back to why you came, i am giving you none of my husband's clothes, tell your father you had no manners for his wife and so she refused his help....scumbag indeed!

That send Ella on her way, chioma stood with pride, she just chased Davids girlfriend, she could deal with competition

. She thought closing the door and heading back to her room, it was there she realized all wasn't well.

...Lord, I just chased Davids laundry man, how would I get to wash his clothes, I don't even know places here. She bit her lower lips in thought ..."there must be a way out.  She remembered seeing a laundry room in the house, it was just a perfect solution, he had the washing machine, drying machine and iron, most importantly, the room had lots of detergents and clothes stuff.

This is perfect!she announced, looking at the room in awe, then rushed back to her room, to get her phone.

With the help of Google, Chioma finished doing his laundry in four hours, she looked at her handwork and smiled, she was proud of herself, she put his clothes in  his wardrobe, went back to her room.

So tired! she remarked, feeling dizzy before she knew it she slept off.

David's POV

He hurried home, earlier than he had planned to, Ella just messaged him on how his so called wife, pushed her out of the house, even fought with her, called her names and still refuse to give her his clothes even after she had begged.....  *David calm down! Al- had tried to quench the anger but yet he had ignored, driving all the way home.

The house was silent, neat rather, David wasn't expecting a calm scenery, he expected to see, the house in tantrums but unfortunately, it was the opposite.              He went to his room, his laundry basket was empty..."is it another one of Ella's surprises? he thought opening his wardrobe to check if someone had hidden there, Ella had once stayed in there, waiting for him, he remembered seeing her in her underwears trying to seduce him but it hadn't work.

David sighed in annoyance, at Ella, he got his phone out of his trouser to dial her but stopped "...who got me a new set of shirts?

He brought out four shirts, they seemed strange but yet familiar, he had kept for shirts for washing, reality strucked him , he stared at the shirts again, anger replaced his blood.

"so she chased Ella away, abused her, ruined my costly shirts and my day! he mutters taking bold steps to the left wing of the house, the side she stays.

Chioma! He called and got no reply, he called her name again but heard no reply.   Where in hell are you? he banged his fist on the door, it opened "So you slept well! David remarked throwing the shirts on her bewildered face, even from afar one could see the white dots on the shirts.

David sat on the only chair in the room..." Are you a witch? he questions
