Chioma heard when he returned, it was past eleven "Where did he go to?she asks herself, her mind replies ",To some woman name Ella....She rolled her eyeballs, listening to his talk though she heard nothing.
In the morning, Chioma makes her way to the kitchen, he wasn't there and it was 9am already" I didn't hear him go out! She remarks going towards his room, She had important things to tell him, things that could change his attitude towards her.
No! Chioma tensed at the sight in the room, David sprawled on the marble floor, his hand laid east and west,and he wasn't snoring"like he does snore! Transfixed for a minute, Chioma ran to the sitting room, she grabs her phone and dials her mum, how could David be dead, without her helping, she thought.
Mum hello......"The number you're dialing is on another call....trust mum to be too busy! She whispers dialing her father
Daddy, David.....where are you?, her breathing came in frighten pangs as she waited for her father to decide on what to say,''''''I'm at Kenya baby,is there a problem. Chioma felt frustration coiling around her neck, she hated that feeling, it made her remember her years of agony who was she going to ask for help

she started the car, and shouted when the car reversed,she didn't know how to stop it and before she kill the engine, the backside of the car was stucked in the wall.She went down to see the damage, there at the porch steps stood David looking confuse,she smiles.
