Happy Friends

The Four were relaxing at the garden, chatting and smiling at each other while
sipping their yurgourt.
Johnpaul got up  and began to entertain others with this hilarious dancing style. Kaima joined him immediately in the dancing, while Mike and Ivy watched with applause.
'Johnpo, you can dance well' Yvonne complemented.
'JP that was going from club to club when we are in school' Whispered Mike to Yvonne's hearing.
'It's obvious, look at the way he's dancing' 
Kaima got tired, so she sat down. Johnpaul got tired too and joined them.
'chai! I will scatter the floor that day' Johnpaul bragged
'Which day are you talking baby?' Kaima asked as she wipes Johnpaul's face with her handkerchief.
'On our wedding day of course, see you.'
'Baby please I don't need much dancing that day, Biko'
Mike and Ivy laughed.
'Why won't you be needing much dancing That day, Yvonne asked; it's your day, a once in a lifetime event.'
'Please, I won't take that . There was the wedding that I attended, you need to see how this groom was dancing. At a time, he pulled off his suit and neck ties

'You can't be that heartless Kaima.' Mike replied.
'I can be oo. Why will the groom be dancing like a paid dancer.
'please, I'm tired of laughing here, Let's be going, today is Saturday and I have a weekend Jamboree programme.'
'Hello people, this is IVY on the MIC, your angel on the radio, the
princess of the will empire. Welcoming you to today lover's
crib.' Johnpaul mimicked.
Kaima watches her fiance as he mimicked Yvonne, 'Baby you rocks jare, don't mind
Johnpaul.
'Johnpaul, dont worry. one of these days, I will invite you to the show, let's see
what the tone of your voice will sound like.'
'Meanwhile, who is coming this saturday, the guys pots are empty.' Johnpaul solicited..
'Kaima, go and cook bitterleaf soup for the guys.' Yvonne responded quickly
'Why me?'
'Course your guy is the one begging for a cook Here.'
'Hell no, Mike raged, 'what does that supposed to mean, are we not using same pot?
Johnpaul suggested that they  play a toss to know who should be coming to Jordan's estate. 
Mike immediately Picks a yorghourt cover and ruled that the in goes for Yvoone while the outside goes for Kaima.
Mike and Kaima were mentioning Yvonne's name, While Johnpaul we're calling on Kaima. The guys were all praying the the toss will pick their babe so it will be a fun-filled weekend, but on the other hand, the ladies, none wanting to come to Jordans estate, probably to avoid the stress of cooking.
At last,Mike tossed the yogurt cover, and the inner cover face up.
Johnpaul and Ivy peers at each other and smiles at their hard luck, whilst Mike and Kaima were happy.
'So its gonna be IVY in the kitchen, your radio queen in the kitchen, the princesses of the kitchen empire.' Mike mimicked as they all stood to their feet and starts going.

Colourful rays of light radiates the studio room, on the partition walls were the inscriptions '103.5 KONJO FM.
Yvonne was typing with her tablet with a DJ by the side.
She looks on a digital clock showing 23:00, and draw closer to the big microphone that was positioned in front of her.
The programme director signaled her for a kick off.
'A very good evening to you wonderful people out there. It's
yet another day you all have been waiting for. This is your angel on the radio, the princess of the wave empire, the most wanted love
physician Ivy on the MIC. Welcoming you to today's programme.
Today, we will be discussing on this important issue.'
She paused for few seconds, turning her engagement ring round her finger and then continued
'the first thing a lady is expecting from a guy she loves is
for the guy to engage her. Yes, once a lady is engaged, she develop this assurance that the boy is hers. But the problem here is that on the sad note, men, I mean nowadays men, they're undermining the meaning or the effect of engaging a lady. I understand that it should be that immediately a relationship enters into engagement, that the dowry payment and wedding shouldn't delay any longer. It is so sad that in Nigeria, soo many ladies have wore engagement ring for years come on guys...
 
At Jordans house, same night, Mike walked to Johnpauls room after he had nocked and entered. Ivy's voice was still tweeting on Johnpaul's radio.
Johnpaul sits up on his bed, Mike joins him as both were seated on the bed Keen with the program..
'Guy what is Ivyonne insinuating?' Mike worriedly ask.
'Mike you worry alot. Her topic is very interesting.'
'Don't you think she's somehow throwing pebbles at us?'
'Nope, I don't think so. We engaged just three months ago.' replied Johnpaul.
'And...?'
'And hopefully, if things work as planned, we will be walking down the aisle by next month. So why will you think she's making a topic for us?'
'Hmmm! I know my girl, she's....?'
'She's what? Mike go and sleep, You worry too much.'

Yvonne's voice on radio
'So my good people of lovers cribs, the phone line is now open, call and tell lovers cribs what duration do you suggest fir an engagement ring to last on ladies engagement finger.'

Johnpaul picks his phone and started dialing numbers.
'What are you trying to do?'
'what does it looks like I am trying to do?'
'So what do you intend to say?' Mike insisting to know.
'You are here with your ears.'
(A hall bar on the radio)
'Who is on the line, please turn down the volume of your radio set.' Yvonne instructed on air as MIke reached out to the radio and lowered the volume.
'Hello can you hear me?' Johnpaul inquired.
'Yes it's better now, your name and location please.'
'This is your angel on radio, Ivy on the MIC, the princess of the wave emp....'
'Johnpo My love. I cant believe you are calling on this programme C'mon.' Yvonne responded as she recognizes Johnpaul's voice.
'I want to contribute to the topic.'
'Nope, am not allowing you Johnpaul, Not today.'
'Haba! Why are you not allowing me?'
'Because I don't want to.'
'Don't I have the right to air my take on the discussion?'
'You do have darling, but I will be sitting on that right tonight. You know what darling, just go to sleep.' Yvonne laughed.
'You are joking right? What do you mean?'
'How's My honeypie?'
'I dey here, I wan yarn my own join sef.' Mike replied in pidgin.
'What are you guys up to?' She asked 
'We're up to something, so allow us to say something.' Johnpaul insisted.
'OK, have your say Johnpaul.'
Johnpaul turned to Mike and asked him in a lowered tone what they were about to say.
'Oh, you don't know what to say, she laughed.
'You know what? Just hang up so that another caller will come on air, while you sort out what to say with C'mon Johnpaul,you can't stop amusing me. Bye. She laughed on the air.
'I just messed up.' Johnpaul affirmed.
'Big time.' replied Mike.
'But it's good to have figured no qualms.You know what, go to sleep.
Mike reach for the radio and increase the volume.

'this is Peter from GRA.' said this Peter that called into the programme.
Mike walked back and turns it off.
'Who the hell is this guy?' Mike asked angrily.
'He's Peter from GRA.' Johnpaul laughs to his door and slammed it as mike moved to his own room.
