Broken pieces - Episode 13

 

FONTANA BEER PUB.
Weeks later, Mike tried so hard to make Yvonne forget her quest but to no avail. She'd made up her mind to leave Jordans house, through words and actions. Their love and smiles as a couple have been shortchanged within these few weeks. She would hardly join in conversation, avoiding the kitchen with Kaima and her face always frowned. Oftentimes, Mike had pleaded, scolded and had covered up some attitude she'd display, just to see wether she will adjust with time but it only get worse . The worst of it all is that she'd never given him any reason on why she's desiring to part with Johnpaul and Kaima.
Mike and Johnpaul were having their usual guys hang out at Fontana pub, but Johnpaul observed Mike's unusual mood, for he pays no attention to the live match on the TV screen, nor could bring up any discussion. He kept turning his glass of beer, looking unconsciously in the glass. Johnpaul raised a discussion, to see if he can cheer up but Mike was so calm and Disturbed.
"O'boy how far now, you've been in this mood for over an hour now, kedu?"
"Nwanne ee, I'm kind of tired, I think we should be going home, I need some rest to cool up." Mike replied.
"You are not just ok, something is disturbing you, it is written all over you. Tell me, what is eating you up?" Johnpaul persisted.
"Dude, I'm fine, just work stress."

. well, if you're not sharing what it is to me fine, but I know you are not alright. c'mon, drink and forget the day gone by, tomorrow is another day ok." Johnpaul gulped down a glass and refilled.
"Could you imagine Yvonne demanding that we look for another apartment." He finally broke the silence, staring at Johnpaul.
"Wha..!" Johnpaul spew his beer in shock.
"Easy man easy." Mike adjusted himself, hit the table in anger.
"Are you serious? Why will she think of that? Did anybody offends her? I mean what was her reason?"  Johnpaul asked in devastation.
"JP, I have been  asking same questions for the past three weeks, but she couldn't give answers to none."
"Could this be why she's been this isolating recently?" Johnpaul wondered.
Mike began gulping down his beer, he signaled for another bottle, twisting his face in grieved.
"Women, Johnpaul continued,  "I know such a day will come, but I never expected it this early."
"After all we tried to have a peaceful and happy home," Mike paused, "she have made up her mind, but you can still talk to her." He suggested.
"This is serious, so indirectly, I should be looking for an apartment not you."
"Are you saying that this is gonna work?" Mike grimaced.
"Do we have option? For you to have a peaceful marriage dude, we gat to go. Trust women when they have this kind of quest."

JORDAN'S HOUSE
Kaima baffled as well when Johnpaul break the news of the recent development to her. She desired like others to Know if she was the cause, but she's told that Yvonne didn't mention her reason. Johnpaul and Mike have decided to send Kaima so she can discuss with her, maybe she will tell her why on Earth she would want to leave.
"I'm not asking her anything, if she wants to leave, let them leave. I can stoop that low to ask her, if I have offended her, she should walk to me and tell me of my actions. This is marriage for crying out loud, let them go the way it will be fine for them." Kaima shrugged.
"In that case, we should be looking for a new apartment, because this house was rented with Mike's name." 
"What?"
"Yes, we pooled fund to pay, but he have the signatory to all the papers."
"No, this can't be, I've fall in love with this house, we can't afford to loose it, so if she want to go, let them look elsewhere." Kaima Argued, backing Johnpaul.
"Darling, You should talk to her."
"I'm not talking to any bo....." Kaima was interrupted by Yvonne nock.
"Hi lovelies." Yvonne greeted.
Kaima sighed, stood up and walk away angrily. Johnpaul managed to squizz out a reply to her greetings, but followed his wife to their room.
Yvonne stood displeased, she sensed Mike have disclosed her decision  to them. She wasn't herself on seeing Johnpaul and Kaima walking away. She new that Jordan's house is set to be a shadow of what it used to be. She sat on the cushion, her head bent to the ground.
Later, Kaima were making the dinner when Yvonne walked in. She acted as if she did not hear her greet so she greeted the second time.
"Bae what are you cooking?" Yvonne psyched.
"Dinner." Kaima  replied nonchalantly .
"I know it's dinner, I mean what kind of food?"
"Look Yvonne, I'm so busy right now as you can see." She made a face.
"Fine, I know why you're this mad at me, but hey, I can assure you that it has nothing to do with either you or JP." Yvonne cleared.
"So this whole thing is true at the first place?" 
"Bae, look I don't even know what  came over me, I have not been the Yvonne I used to be for weeks now, I don't even Know why I'm desiring to part with you, after that we've come this far." 
"I don't have problem with that, please I wouldn't want to come between you and Mike." Kaima said minding her pot.
"Kaima trust me, you are not the reason. Look I have been regretting why I thought of leaving this lovely home at the first place, infact I'm withdrawing the statement." Yvonne replied remorsefully.
"What have come over you, why not talk to me, problem shared is half solved, except if I and my husband is the problem. Or you can talk to Mrs Adelabu? Kaima suggested. She tried to see wether Yvonne will open up to her, but she persisted not willing to  disclose.
Mike and Johnpaul decided to meet Mrs Adeladu, Perhaps she could help. They'd hoped she will open up to Kaima. They stayed long at the sitting room racking their brains on how to restore their dream home. Yvonne stayed awake till midnight, waiting for Mike to come to bed so she would tell him that she is backing off her earlier decision to leave.
She pleaded for forgiveness when Mike had entered the room, also  that he help her unite the home as it used to be before. Mike knew she meant all she'd said. He could tell her remorse, so they made up that night.
Kaima woke up, remembering she didn't put her soups in the fridge before going to bed, so she rushed down the kitchen. After that, on her way up, she was hearing Yvonne's m*aning. Initially, she thought she was crying, maybe she's pleading Mike for forgiveness. 
"No, this is for pleasure, she soliloquies. "why will she be making such noise why making love?"
Mike and Yvonne have never make love starting from the day the thought of living separately entered her mind, so after that she'd decided not to again, she felt that s*x was what they have missed for weeks, and Mike seem to be punishing her with this energetic pounding, so Yvonne m*ans so loud.
Kaima was not happy with those sound, she was greatly disturbed. She wondered how Johnpaul have be on such innuendo whenever she's on night duty, 
"who knows why he's still struggling to cope with my night out, or the reason why she thought about moving out, or maybe Mike have misbehaved." Kaima racks in thought before going inside the her room. As she bang the door, she still could feel the flow of the m*an, she looked at Johnpaul, deep in sleep. She mounted the bed, engulfed with s*xual feeling but Johnpaul was not in the mood. She looked displeased, the picture of Yvonne and Mike having good time kept flashing but Johnpaul couldn't help for he stay long with Mike downstairs. She button up her night gown, backing Johnpaul. Yvonne m*an have ignite this urge at the wrong time. She flips her legs trying so hard to comport herself untill Johnpaul turned,  crossing his hand over and reached for the unguarded br*ast. Kaima  smiled at Johnpaul's enlarged picture by her side, she turned speedily when he grabbed her pants, that kind of kiss you know.
