Months later

Claudia:

"Push! Christ! It's huge!" I yell when I see the head of a human hang out of my little sister's body. Kill me! I can't look! My head starts to spin.
"Claudia! Snap out of it!" I can't believe my little sister is the one shaking me when she's actually the one pushing that thing out of her.
"Ma'am, if you can't take it, I suggest you leave. You're distracting the mother." The doctor says in a generic voice . This is enough to snap me out of freaking out. I feel Cassandra's hand clamp on the hand I'm holding her with and I brush the wet hair from her face.
"I'm not leaving you." I assure her. Never! The doctor eyes me to make sure I'm not going to faint or worse before he goes back to my sister.
"It's coming okay? I'll need you to make a big push on the next contraction. Can you do that?" My sister blows at a breath of air then nod. I feel her squeeze my hard harshly and I know it's the next contraction hitting her.
"Okay, baby. Push!" I scream like I'm the one pushing.
"Claudia!!! It hurts!!" She screams as more of the head covered in blood and goo is pushed out of her.
"You're doing great. You're doing great." The doctor encourages.
"Now take a breath of air." I advise her and when she does, the baby's head retreats back into her body.
"Oh no! It went back in!" I exclaim.
"That's perfectly normal

. I think." Cass manages to tell me around harsh puffs of breaths. I look to the doctor who nods.
"We'll need a bigger push on the next contraction okay? Push really hard. This is almost over." The doctor says after a few seconds.
"Oh. It's coming. I can___ Arggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
"Cass!"
"It hurts!!!!"
"You can do this!" I try not to wince at the hand she's squeezing too hard. I can't feel that hand anymore but it's the agonizing screams coming from her is hard to listen to. When is it coming to an end? Baby come out for mommy okay? I peek down at her spread legs and excitement rushing through me.
"She's out! She's out! Oh!" The doctor shakes his head at me but a small smile plays on his lips.
"Just one more push. Are you okay for it?" He asks Cass.
"Let's get it over with." She sounds so tough. Tougher than me actually. I don't think I can push a human out of me and still be sane. Maybe it's because she's done this two times before but damn!
"I'm so proud of you baby. I'm so__"
"Ok! Ok! I can arggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!" The rest part of the body slips out with gooey water and blood rushing out as well. The baby's wailing fills the room and my heart swells. I think I'm crying. The doctor catches the baby and places it on Cassandra's chest.
"She's so beautiful." I sob as I pat my sister's shoulder lovingly. Eve covered in goo, she's breathtaking.
"Oh my God!" The doctor yells and this throws both my sister and I out of our baby worshipping fog.
"What is it?! Are you okay, Cass? Is she okay??" Worry covers me whole.
"Another one is coming." Cass and I look at him like he's lost his marbles.
"Another contraction?" I ask dumbly.
"Claudia?" Cassandra's grip on my hand gets harsh again and I frown.
"Are you okay? What's__"
"Oh my God!!!!!! Arggggghhhhhh!" Cassandra's scream covers my voice and then the cry of baby joins her screams. I look to the little lady on her chest but that's not the sound of her cries.
"It's a boy." The doctor manufactures another baby and my mouth nearly hits the ground in shock.
"Claudia!" Cassandra's sob pulls me back to my sister and I blatantly sob with her at the vision of the two babies lying on her chest. Jesus!

I stagger out of the labor room like a zombie and my family swamp me just outside the room.
"Claudia! What's going on?" Amy is the first to ask me. I try to speak but emotion clogs my throat and I end up letting a sob out instead. What's wrong with me?
"Claudia? Clear the way for her! Here sit down." My father's strong hand leads me to a chair out front and I let my body sink into it.
"Baby, what's going on. How is your sister?" I let my eyes focus on my audience and see Cassandra's little girls staring at me with panicked eyes.
"Come here, darlings." I open my arms for them to come to me and they do. I place a quick kiss on both their temples before smiling at them. They have been good little girls for the past couple of months. Even during the trail with their father, they made it clear to the judge that they prefer to be with their mother. It wasn't easy but Cassandra got custody of her children. Now, two more has been added.
"You have a new sister." I announce. The whole room bursts out in boisterous laughter. The girls hug me and I smile.
"I have another news!" I say loud enough to get everyone's attention. Bright eyes stare at me and I let the smile stretch my lips wide.
"A little boy has been added to our family as well!" I squeal. Everyone freezes at this.
"Twins?" Amy, God bless her heart, is the first one to come out of shock.
"Yes! A girl and a boy!"
"Oh my God!" Amy slumps on the chair besides me and hug my side. She sniffs a time or two and I know she's crying. In joy.
"This is amazing." I hear her whisper.
"We have a new brother and sister!" The younger of Cassandra's children burst out singing while her elder sister hold her hands. The crowd resume their boisterous laughter and celebration.
"How is she?" My dad balances on the other side of me.
"She's fine. Tired.

. But great." I tell him and he nods.
"Thank Jesus Christ." He says and I nod. Yeah, thank you Lord.
"Should we call her husband?" Amy asks beside me and I frown at her.
"Cassandra doesn't have a husband. They're divorced, Amy."
"I know. But it's still his children. Maybe he'll take her back now that she has a son." Amy reasons and I shake my head at her.
"He arrested his own wife! Took her children from her and kicked her out!" I'm starting to get agitated.
"I know. He has a lot of making up to do. Maybe?"
"Cassandra doesn't want us to call him. That's final. Now let's not spoil the mood for my Godchildren's birth." I tell her.
"You wish! I'm the godmother." Amy slaps my shoulder lightly and I chuckle.
"Dream on." Both of us giggle and sit back in our chairs to watch our family be happy. They need this. God knows they do.
