Levi.

"I'm sorry I didn't bring any clothes" She says for the thousandth time and i turn away from the closet to look at her for the thousandth time

"I told you it was fine Addie"

"But I feel so guilty"

"Any more mention of it will earn you a kiss"

I say and she gets a mischievous look. 

"Well, that kind of makes me want to do it again." She says with a shy smile and my heart almost aches to think that I would have died without seeing that smile. 

I lead her to the bathroom after finding one of my pj's for her to wear. 

I go downstairs and I see Aaron at the table his hair wet, reading a newspaper. 

"You took a swim without me again didn't you?" 

"Aye, captain" 

He says, not even lifting his head. 

"Tell me.." I say to him in a conspiratorial whisper and he lifts his head in curiosity. "... . Do you have a death wish?" 

I say and he rolls his eyes. 

"What's wrong?" I ask, I know instantly when something is wrong, Aaron fidgets when he is angry, he does this because he hates being angry, so he stays quiet to try and let it go. 

He's cute like that. Gross. 

"What makes you think anything is wrong?" 

"Because you are clenching that newspaper like it killed your child" I say pointing to the poor paper and he loosens his fingers, smoothing out the rough edges. 

"Soo...?" 

"Vanessa wants us to talk" He says, it's useless when he tries to hide things from me. 

And also, Vanessa, his girlfriend is pretty useless too, no offense. 

The girl is as shallow and conceited as they come, don't forget to add her surgically enhanced boobs, hips, and face. 

The combination makes her look like a roadkill barbie. 

I swear to the Lord I don't know what Aaron sees in the girl, he can do much better I can tell you that. 

Fool girl did not even bother to come visit him in the hospital when he had his injury, not even to see if the surgery was successful. 

Seeing as if he had lost his leg his career would have been over and her constant source of Gucci and Versace would be closed. 

I'm sure the cause of the latest quarrel is because he refused to buy her a designer bag she just must have. 

Or something along that line. 

"What happened this time?" 

"She wanted me to wire her a seven hundred grand because she and her friends want to 'vacay' in Paris" 

Nailed it.

He looks at me crazy. 

"No, of course not, what ever does she want to use seven hundred grand for?" 

Probably to enhance her ass, I think. I don't say a word and wait for him to continue. 

"Well, she says since I no longer meet her demands it's time for us to talk" He scoffs. "I sent her a million last month cos she wanted to take her family shopping, how does she think I make my money? On the highway?" 

"Don't ask me,when I told you to break it off with her last Christmas you almost broke my nose "

I say jokingly so as to lighten the atmosphere but he just goes back to his paper, although I can bet he isn't reading anything. 

"I think.. No.. I know she is cheating on me, I just didn't want to admit it" He says sounding broken. 

It's no surprise that, the bitch came on to me last game of the year when her man got injured in Madrid. 

What did she say? 

Oh yes, she wanted us to sleep together so that we can let go of our pain. 

"What now?" 

He opens his mouth but gets interrupted. 

"I think you should break up with her" Addie says from behind us and I turn to see my future wife standing like a vision at the kitchen entrance. 

Damn. 

I'm a lucky man.

Adeline. 

Every one knows Vanessa 'ice b*tch' Adams. Oh you had to know her. 

She is that loud, she came to games in glittering diamonds and made a show of sitting in the VIP booths cheering for her man. 

But that isn't what made her popular, she gained her popularity when a video of her making out with another team member got leaked. 

It might as well have been a s*x tape, the team prided its self in being loyal to each other, everyone casted evil eyes on Aaron when that happened, some bloggers even went far as to say that Aaron asked her to do it. 

Still Aaron stood with her through thick and thin. 

It was a hard time for Aaron and most of the team members.

The b*tch still goes out of her way to flirt with everything that owns a pair of trousers and owns a car. 

"Addie..." Levi starts and I immediately remember how rude it is to contribute to a matter that has no connection to me. I begin to apologize. 

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have..." 

"It's fine Addie...." Aaron says. "... How much did you hear?" 

"Just the ending of the conversation" I say in a small voice, Levi reaching his hand to me and I step into his arms. 

"I kno this totally doesn't concern me and I should probably not contribute but the worst type of people to exist are those that go about intentionally hurting others whilst pretending that they have no idea what they are doing" 

Those are the people I hate the most. 

"You can do better Aaron, Vanessa does not cut it for you" 

He frowns. 

"You know Vanessa?" He asks 

Shit, I think I just crossed a line. I lie, yet again. 

"Well, you guessed it correctly the last time, I'm a big fan of yours, I kinda know about everything, it's on the internet" 

Well if you think about it, it really isn't much of a lie. 

He smiles wanly before throwing Levi a smug look. 

"See, I told you" 

Levi looks betrayed. 

"I said I was a big fan of yours but I'm an even bigger fan of Levi" I say and Levi chuckles into my hair, patting it like a child's. 

Ha, I'm content.
