Mirabell paid deaf ears to the banging and yelling behind the closed door of her room.. Her parents has been there for the past thirty minutes ranting and shouting at her despreatly to open the door but she vehemently dissented in her blubbered sobs . The next morning was Sunday. She left for church service very early so she could snob her parents. At church she pured out her mewled heart earnestly to the most high asking him for the grace to triumph the challenges facing her . Nevertheless, She returned after the service to meet her irritating parents who she had been trying to avoid all day Long. However, Her Father being contankerous in nature sparked up the moment he saw her...

"hey young lady! What is wrong with that dumb head of yours? Why do you have to embarrass me before the Mayor of the town? Aren't you suppose to be thanking us for securing you a wealthy, handsome, charming, intelligent , loving and caring Husband."

He kept ranting until Mirabell contained it no more . And then she launched at him arrogantly.

"stop it father! Stop it ! Did i tell you i need a husband? How could you betrothe me to some one without my prior knowledge? How would you expect me to act along with your selfish plans? You should even be thanking God i did not empty a bottle of wine on the head of your so-called mayor and his son because that was what i felt like doing yesterday"

she yelled

"will you shut up! Where did you get all those guts from ? You dare not talk to me in such manner , i am your father!"

"and you dare not force that man on me because i have my own right. I am never going to marry him!"

"can you listen to your self? Did you know how many ladies who are dieing to gain his attention? Did you know who you are talking about? "

"i don't know! I don't even want to know!"

Chief Gavin was Filled with aggravation as he watched his daugther yell at him

. He stood up and screamed more in anger.

"Look Mirabell , you must marry him and that's final!"

"no dad i won't because i have a boy friend who is going to marry me"

Mirabell dropped the Bomb and it exploded in his heart with an overwhelming exasperation. He charged towards her and gave her an expedite twin slaps . She fastened her hands to her chin immediately and then took instant steps out of the house.

"its not as if i have not been warning you. i have been giving you danger signal right from time but you are too complacent about it.

Flora teased her husband the moment mirabell was out of the house. Chief Gavin shot a Dagger stare at her that instant .

"you should be thinking of a better way to correct your crazy daughter other than adding petrol to the burning fire with what you are saying."

he retorted.

"plans? What plans am i to make when all my ideas are always irrelevant before you?"

She continued.

"look chief , i have loosed a son and will never be happy with you if i happens to loose my only daugther the same way!"

she sneered and walked away leaving him flabbergashted.

Mirabell saw Owen sitting on the bonnet his car as soon as she was out of the compound. She parked her car along the road and then went up to him to know what he was upto at her house.

"sweet heart happy Sunday"

Owen greeted as he saw her approach. On the second look at her, he changed his statement because it was obviously written on her face that the Sunday is not a happy one for her.

"what's the problem? Your charming eyes are looking redish. Have you been crying?"

he asked affectionately as he reached her hands.

"its nothing. Its as a result of the onion i sliced minutes ago"

she lied putting on a smile.

"you and i knows you are lying. Don't try cover it up because i knows it already" Owen blurted.

"knows what?"

she removed her hands from his.

"that your wretched lover have been cheating on you" he explicated.

"please Owen, i don't get you" Mirabell ejaculated curiously.

"are you trying to tell me you don't know that your boy friend is cheating on you with another lady?"

"Owen you are drunk. Have you been drinking? Harry can never cheat on me"

she stated angrily.

"okay, then you have to take a look at this!"

he blurted as he simultaneously taped on his iphone xi. Before long, he handed it over to her and watched as her eyes grew wide. Their on the screen was a picture of Harry and a lady sitting together and their lips were almost together in a kiss.
