Well I sure did here.
Mum and Dad got back to meet by the roadside crying and hungry at the same time, What are you two doing Here? Mother asked as she let go of her basket and ran towards us. On getting to us mother asked me once again what we were doing there by that time , Sssssss Sssssss I managed to say as I tried in telling them what brought us outside.
But in as much as I tried, I couldn't tell them because the words were not forming so I just cried. Mother and father seeing that I wasn't in any condition to speak at the time left me alone . But before that, mother carried my brother from me . Who has by this time cried himself to sleep without any food, then father asked me what it was that had happened that was so serious for us to live the house and sit by the roadside ,
Snake father, Snake! What snake are you talking about ADA? Father asked.
Father, there was snake in the house. Sunday and I were so scared but she laughed and left us here with the snake Father.
What do you mean by snake and who left you? father asked me again .
Please my princess tell me na, come and tell daddy what happened.
So I went sat on his laps and told him everything all over again. Daddy, as you and mummy went to the market, small mummy came here

. What! Mum and Dad shouted at a go, who did you say came here? father asked, "small mummy" I said,
Daddy she came and when I told her you people were not around she told me she knows and then she asked me to follow her to the farm, where she uprooted cassava, potatoes, yams and vegetables.
That's Okay but did she enter the house? Mother asked, yes mother she did she came and asked for water and I gave her but after she finished the water she told me to help her pack the yams and the rest while she took the cup inside the house.
When she came out of the house she asked me and Sunday to go inside and when I told her no that we wanted to play outside she got angry and shouted on me,
So I took Sunday and went in to the house and she shut the door after us only for me to see a snake dangling right above our head,
I got scared and started calling for help thinking that small mother had left but when we ran outside here we saw her laughing and when I asked her for help she only looked at me and hissed then she walked away living us alone in the house.
That was why I took Sunday and went to set at the roadside to wait for you and mother to come back home.
By the time I finished telling mother and father everything they were speechless but father found his voice first and he said "no no this can't be true " but father am not lying I said in defense, then father took the lamp and went in to the house to check everywhere few minutes later he returned with a snake skin then I shouted out in fear only for him to say it wasn't the real snake that it was the skin and I asked him what that meant and he told me that it meant that thee was actually a snake in the house but it has gone .
