"Why does it bother me so much that Victor is getting married? She questioned herself.

now she has a little idea of the pains Emeka felt when Hani left him.

"God, my heart is aching me, this is too
much for me to swallow,

Victor is the man I love...

I love Vil! she blunted out to herself as she
wets her pillow.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door,

Her aunty who was resting in the parlour
welcomed her pastor and his son with
gladness of heart.

“wow!

Daddy you’re highly welcomed sir, Uncle
Victor please feel at home, come and make yourselves comfortable”

“where is Tosin” the pastor asks

Vil's eyes was already rovering across the
parlour as though Tosin was hiding somewhere on the walls and ceiling.

“she has been in her room since afternoon” she replied.

"Tosin!" She called out as she dashed into
the kitchen to get refreshment for them.

Her aunty despite the fact that she was
excited had a mixed feeling,

“what could be the reason for this visit and to think that we were all together in church few hours ago.

daddy could have called Tosin or me if he
needed anything” she thought to herself as she served them chilled juice.

Drinking was the last thing on their mind,
they appreciated her but left the drinks
 untouched.

Tosin was lost in thought that she didn’t
hear her aunt’s call.

she heard a knock at her door,

"aunt is that you?"

“Tosin” she called again still knocking on the door.

“ma” answering as she open to her, after
wiping her face with her blanket, she wears a fake smile hiding all her questions and worries underneath it.

“are you okay? It’s unlike you to stay this
long indoors, by the way, are you aware
that daddy and his son are here?”

Her heart skipped a beat, the man she has
been thinking about is right in her house.

“Really! That’s great," she said smilingly

"but why?" She asks almost immediately as her smiles faded.

Didn’t we see in church today she muttered

Her aunt hearing her says to her

“Go and ask them” she returns to the
 parlour and Tosin follows her.

“Daddy welcome, Victor you’re welcome”,
she greeted warmly.

Vil knelt down with a golden ring stretched towards Tosin...

"will you marry me?"

Tosin's heart skipped a beat the second
 time.

“But what about...?" She asks in a panicky
 voice

“hush!!!" Vil cut in before she could say
anything

"Just say yes" he persuaded

Tosin looks at her pastor, he smiled and
gave her a sign of consent.

“Yes yes yes yes!!!! She responded

They both hugged each other...

Her aunt and the pastor were enveloped in
 joy,

Victor frees himself from the embrace and sees his mother standing behind him.

"how did you get here? He asked looking
surprised.

“I flew in last night and arrived not quite
long. The journey was hectic but the
important thing is that I’m here.
