I feel like I want to die, I would give up if not for the thought of Alec and Sage.

Steven Osas has done things to me that makes me want to die, he was going to repeat what he did four years ago but I bit into his hand and he punched my stomach so hard that I can't breath properly.

My eyes are swollen, he has degraded me, debased me, I don't feel human anymore.

He made me do things that no human being should ever do, my son has passed out from the stress of crying, small mercies.

Steven dunks my head into the tub of water, God am so cold, I cold just breath and suck in water enough water to knock me out but I don't want to be in aware of what Steve is doing to me.

From the water immersing my head I hear gun shots, Steve pulls my head out of the and I feel the cold of the metal gun pressing into my skull, I make out sage standing in front of me, Oh God no, I could take whatever Steve gave to me but not this man, this man is my everything.

I  scream and scream behind the gag he placed on me after I bit, go sage please, just take Alec and go, I want to say, but I can't, am so helpless.

From my vantage point, I see that only one of Steve's men seems to be breathing, there are about 3 men standing down because sage has an hand up, Evelyn is being held by a man, Justin is standing side by side Sage and I see someone has taken Alec out.

I slump in Steven's arms in relief, finally, I can go now, I can fade away knowing my baby is safe.

Sage must have seen the defeat in my eyes because he says calmly

"Little bird, you belong to me, no one else, not even death, not even yourself, I do not give you permission to feel defeat, you do not die without my say so"

His voice jolts me because I realize I had been closing my eyes, steve must be spooked because he shouts

"Shut up, another word and I will kill her"

Who does this dog think he is, no offense to dogs, they are cool animals, he is threatening my man, holding a gun to my head, terrifying my brother, no one does that.

I turn my eyes to Justin as much as I can, Steve Osas is choking me and trying to move me to the door, Justin makes eye contact and he gets what am trying to say, he nods.

I take a deep breath and I stomp on Steve's leg as hard as I can, he yelps and let's go, I run to sage and I hear a gun shot and Evelyn screaming, it's over, God.

I embrace sage and start crying, oh God,
He kisses my eyebrows and holds me close, I  slump in his arms, I go to smile shakily but I hear a gun being cocked, I turn in time to see Steve Osas raise his gun and aim at sage and I.

*******
Justice.

What is taking them so long, I have called an ambulance for little Alec and the police are in thier way, one of Steve's men tries to esscape, I have him down, a shot to his leg and tied but my sister and her lover and my brother does not seem to be coming out, I  turn when I see some police car pull up.

I turn when I see some of them pointing, sage is carrying a bleeding julliet, she doesn't seem to be breathing.

The world stops, I can't breath, my sister looks to be dead.
