The Homecoming - Episode 12
I wake up for the 2nd time in as many days in Sage's arm and am instantly alert,
I remember falling asleep at my chaise but sometime in the night he must have moved me , I turn from spooning him and I see him sleeping, I relax into the bed and watch him sleep,
He seems so different from the sage that prowls the Halls, he looks less intimidating from this point.
I reach out and touch his eyelashes, it's evil, how can a man have such long lashes, I sigh.
He smiles and I realize I said that out loud, and I want to die of mortification, he opens his eyes and I get hit by his gold eyes, Goldy, that's what I want to start calling him.
"Good morning"
His eyes warms as I whisper my greeting and he replies by stroking my hair out of my eyes.
"How you doing little bird?"
"Am as good as can be Goldy"
He frowns and tips his lips in a quirk.
"Goldy, your eyes they are gold with little silver stars"
He smiles proper now and replies.
"Goldy, I like it, but would appreciate it if you call me that in the privacy of our room baby"
I like how he said our room but wait...
"Why? Don't you like it?"
"I like it a little too much little bird, that's why it's going to be just ours"
I smile and mumbles something about macho men, that must have been funny to him because he bursts out laughing.
I realize something,I have seen sage smile, heard him chuckle but never heard his laugh. It was amazing, like seriously, it sounds so macho and at the same time full of joy and warmth, I make a promise To my self, it is now my life mission to make Sage Jacobs laugh.
He stops when he sees me looking at him in wonder, his eyes warm dangerously.
"A little advice bird, don't look at me like you want a bite, or else we won't be leaving this room till noon."
I blush furiously and he chuckles again.
"Calm down little bird, I won't do anything, well anything you won't like"
I blush again and hide my face in his chest, that gets me another laugh, yes totally worth it.

I don't let Alec go to school today because i won't rest if he is out of sight and because it is Friday anyway, I call in and I clear that up, we hang out in the media room and start watching reruns of his favorite cartoons.
I sit beside sage with my head on his shoulder, nothing too deep, dont want to scare my little boy just yet, he looks at is for a while and goes back to watching his movie.
Justin enters the room with a grave expression, I sit up, instantly alert, the house keeper Evelyn enters and I presume to watch over Alec.
I make my excuses to my son and exit the room, we end up in the study with Justin leading both sage and I, we enter and I see Steve and Wesley the Weasle waiting for us.
Well this must be a doozy.
I instantly get to the point, no need to draw it out.
"Any news gentlemen?"
Steve answers and am grateful for that,
"We couldn't get any finger prints from the envelope, just like wesley suggested"
Well that's disappointing.
"But we did get some intel from some of your surveillance cameras in this house."
They went through the house cameras?I didn't know that.
"Where you able to get anything?"
That wasnfrom justice sitting at his thrine desk.
Wesley replies this time .
"Yes we did get something, Has anyone at anytime angered the minister of works?"..
Whose the minister of works? What is he talking about?
"Oh hell no".
That was from sage, I turn to him and finally ask the question in my mind.
"Who is the minister of works?"
Justice replies,
"The asshole pervert, Benson oloyenla".
Oh hell no was correct.
