Juma woke up in a hospital bed amid of beeping machines and a pounding head.

. He tried to shield his eyes from the blinding light that seemed to penetrate inside his eyeballs. After adjusting to the bright light he looked around. The buzzing sound in his ear stopped as he tried to recollect his memories.
It came back like a flood, hyenas, Vuyanzi and unnaturally big lions.
Vuyanzi, he had to get to her.
As he was trying to get out of bed, the door opened and Tabu stepped in.
‘’Juma stay in bed you are still very weak, you lost so much blood’’ Tabu tried to push him back into the bed and she was managing considering the state he was. He had never felt so weak.
‘’Vuyanzi, I have to get to her…where is she?’’ Juma held Tabu’s arms and squeezed.
‘’Am sorry Juma,’’ Tabu began with tears in her. Juma felt his heart drop. He couldn’t lose Vuyanzi. He had to tell her everything, confess his feelings to her.
‘’What?’’ Juma asked in a small voice Tabu kept on crying and it was annoying him to no end.
‘’Talk Tabu, tell me where she is,’’ Juma was now saying jumping from the bed and tearing the IV tubes that had been injected in his body, blood sipped out of his arm

. Tabu tried to stop him but he pushed towards the bed. Lightheaded ness hit him and his legs trembled beneath him. He almost collapsed if not for Tabu who held him up.
‘’Juma be careful, lie down,’’ Tabu huffed but managed to put him back in bed, he was so tired, his limbs being useless. The commotion had attracted a nurse and a doctor who quickly came in and helped Tabu.
He was injected some liquid and passed out again, the name Vuyanzi dying on his lips.
Oh my God what happened to Vuyanzi?
