Sister's Love - Episode 8
Just A Dream
I grabbed my sister and I screamed just then I heard a wet cloth on my head. I Opened my eyes and saw my friends all gathered around me. I was sweating so much and my heart was beating so fast.
What happened Maggie they asked. I think I had a bad dream but am ok. That night I couldn't sleep anymore. What if its a sign my sister is in danger? What if something bad happens to my sister what will I do? How will I ever live without her? I asked myself.
For all the holidays that had passed Achieng has been staying with me at school . Her brother Sam explained to me what happened and that the day Lucy was raped he wasn't even around. I somehow believed him and he has been of great help in providing me with some essential needs.
Sam's pov
Achieng decided to stay at school for holidays and it was an advantage to me. I got to see Maggie more often and we even became friends. I have not told her of how I feel towards her am still waiting for the right time. They are soon sitting for their UACE exams and am planing on what to give her as a success card.
I just pray I get to see her even after her final exams. She's the type of girl I really dream of. I love this girl more than I love life itself

Maggie's pov
It has been three weeks ever since we started for our final exams and today is my last day . Achieng finished yesterday with pure maths as her last paper and am finishing with computer practical. Sam got me a smart phone as a success card and however much we are not allowed phones in school am happy that I will have something to use in this long vacation .
After my last paper I was summoned by the head teacher to his office. I was at first scared because he was an old man and highly respected in school. Being summoned to his office in most cases meant you have some issues with the school administration stuff. I quickly went to his office and he offered me a seat
Oh I forgot to tell you I never called my sister and it has been a year almost now. I always got my essential needs through the school metron who got them from the head teacher . That monster of a guy never gave me the chance to speak to him. He always sent things without my knowledge . Am sure he did it because he knew I might call him.
How were the exams my daughter? He asked removing his spects and placed them on the table. Fine sir I replied. I called you to inquire something from you if you're not in a hurry to rush back home. He said this time looking me straight in the eyes. Am not sir I replied my heart beating at a terrible speed.
How are you related to Mr Mark? He asked looking concerned .

. His married to my elder sister Lucy I replied quickly without even thinking. Jesus Christ ... He shouted and opened his eyes so wide as if the eye balls were about to fall out. What did you just say ? I looked at him not knowing what next to say .
Oh don't worry my daughter but how long have they been married? I answered him . I have known Mr Mark for quite a while but his not someone to trust with your sister. He and his father have weird characters that's why they live in the woods without neighbours. Do you often hear from your sister, he asked. At this point I couldn't control my self I knelt down before him asking him to save my sister. I was crying and wailing and words refused to form. I didn't know what to do or what to say. I cried my eyes out and I couldn't hear what he was saying and that's when i lost my conscious.
