October 2006
Ifeoma took a leave from work to visit Iya Ugu.
She had told iya Ugu to quit business which she did.

Iya Ugu always find joy in telling people her story.
It's sure from grace to grass.

There was a car horn at the gate as Iya Ugu's gateman opened the gate.
The gateman goes by the name Musa
"Kei, welcome aunty", Musa spoke in a concentrated Hausa accent.
"Welcome", Ifeoma replied and waved at him.
Ifeoma came down from her car, wound her car screen and entered the house.
Ekaette, Iya Ugu's house help came to greet her and took Ifeoma's bag as a sign of respect.
"Ah! Welcome my daughter", Iya Ugu said as they hugged each other.
"Welcome MA", Ifeoma replied.
Iya Ugu ordered Ekaette to serve them the delicacy she had prepared.

While they were eating,
Mrs Coker came in.
Ifeoma summoned for her presence.
"Welcome Ma", Ifeoma stood and hugged Mrs Coker.

. I know my brother is really having it on a platter of gold".
Ifeoma stood, and drew her short tight skirt that had gone up, down.
Ifeoma said again, facing each of them one by one, "I know my brother would have attended best schools but I want to reunite with him".
"You have to; you know blood is thicker than water", Iya Ugu said.
"But how?", Ifeoma asked.
"So easy", Mrs Coker said.
They both fixated at her, so she'd say her mind.
"You are a public figure now. Your brother must have seen your picture but won't know you are the one. Even your name Ifeoma Okeke. I think you should organize an interview with a TV station telling your story and how you'd like to meet your brother", Mrs Coker said.
"My daughter, you are so smart", Iya Ugu said.
They all laughed and departed.

The next day, Ifeoma had an interview with NTA, from her fathers death, her mother's, staying with Mrs Bamiloye, Mama Bola and the rest of her gory days. She also narrated how she experienced racial discrimination in America. The news circulated everywhere.
Nigerians online were hailing how a strong woman she was.

Mama don't watch news as they didn't have television.
Emeka, jnr, on the other hand didn't watch it as there was no television in his oga's office.

Some guys came to Mama's shop to buy something after she had upgraded to a bigger kiosk.
She sold alcoholic drinks and cigarettes as some guys come there to drink away.
Two men that were drinking beer and smoking started talking about Ifeoma Okeke, and an elderly old man entered with a newspaper in his arm.
He overheard them, talking about Ms Ifeoma Okeke, and sat down to join the conversation.
He ordered for alcoholic drink and started dissecting the story when the other two guys were adding fake stuff into it.
Mama was inquisitive about the story and decided to ask for explanations which the old man did.
The explanation fitted Mama and her family.
She entered inside and cried her eyes out.
That night, Emeka came back from work and Mama narrated everything to him.
Emeka had been stuck with his oga because he didn't want to settle him after years of serving him.
"Are you going to reunite with your sister?", Mama cried.
"Yes, Ma", Emeka replied.

The next day, Emeka and Mama journeyed to the TV station office.
The man that attended to them was a bit skeptical because they looked like a pauper and not what Ms Ifeoma described. But he still called, Ifeoma because this life has its up and down.
Ifeoma phone rang and she picked it.
"Your brother and grandmother is here to reunite with you", he said..
"You say?", Ifeoma dropped her phone, called Mrs Coker with a landline which was in her office and told her about the development.
They both met themselves at the TV office.
Immediately Ifeoma came down from her car, Mrs Coker also did same. They arrived exactly same time.
"Where is my brother?", Ifeoma asked the man as she passed Emeka and Mama.
"There!", the man pointed at them
"Emeka jnr", Mrs Coker shouted.
"And I was somewhat right that year", Ifeoma cried.
Mama cried and Emeka was sober.
In between the suffering, Emeka was still a handsome young man.
