Ifeoma resumed school under the scholarship of Minister Adeleke Ajayi.

She made a vow not to disappoint those that believed in her.
First day, week and month at school was weird for her but she overcame it.
Ifeoma was studious and her routines were from class to library to church, and then back to her hostel.

2000
Emeka, jnr was sixteen years and had migrated from menial jobs in his oga shop to hard ones.
He would offload goads whenever it arrived, lure for customers like their shop neighbours do to make sales.
"Mama, this work is so hectic", Emeka said.
"You have to keep it up if you want to be successful in life", Mama said.
"Okay", Emeka said.
After some minutes,
"Mama, I really want to see my mother", Emeka let out.
"She is an eyesore and don't deserved to be seen", Mama replied.
"It still doesn't matter" Emeka replied.
"Okay, I'll make inquiries about her whereabouts tomorrow", Mama replied.
The next day,
Emeka went to work and Mama kept brooding on how she would find Yewande but no avail. She doesn't know any of her friends and relatives.
She concentrated back to her petty business.

One day, a red car wound down and horned in front of Mama's shop.
She was sitting on a wooden chair with no resting back, picking beans.
Mama stood up so fast to attend to her customer.
"I want to buy a cold bottled water", a man on a dark glass shade said.
Mama ran to her cooler; she used ice to cool her soft drinks, bottled and pure water.

. Mama brought one out of it, walked to the car and gave it to him.
He handed a fifty naira note to her.
"You look familiar", the man said and removed his glass shade after he had gulped half plastic of the cold water down his throat.
"I don't think I have met you before", Mama said.
Mama continued, "or maybe I can't remember".
"I guess you can't remember", the man said and drove off. Mama kept pondering on who he was.
"I think I have seen the face. During my son's burial? One of Emeka's friend. Yes, I can connect the dots", Mama said loudly.
"But why couldn't he say who he was", Mama hissed.
It was Dozie, one of Emeka's friend. He makes jest of how dejected Emeka's family life was. "Dead wife? Abandoned children?", Dozie would say.

Mama continued picking her beans she would Cook and have for breakfast and dinner.

Ifeoma extended her exploits to her course of study in the university.
She performed outrightly good and challenged her lecturers with questions and answered the ones thrown at the class.
She did them cautiously not attract the wrath of her lecturers.
All her course mates wanted to relate with her.
She didn't have an ego problem and was ready to put everyone of them through. She had a close relationship with the lecturers in her faculty.
She represented her university in their departmental inter-varsity competitions and they came top.
Ifeoma had economics insights and proffered solutions to the state government problems.
She was the government student ambassador.

Apart from setting standard high in her course of study, Ifeoma excelled in the debating society of her institutions.
She had always been a force to reckon with in jaw wars. Her dictions were impeccable.
She was also a good writer and had her ways with play of words.
She was nicknamed "pun mistress" by her fellow varsity poets. She influenced and motivated lot of people in her cliques and was always invited in every school occasions to deliver a way laid out speech.

Four years had passed and Ifeoma was on the verge of graduating with a record breaking cumulative grade point average of 4.96.
Before her convocation,
Mrs Coker summoned for her.
Ifeoma had been spending time in helping Iya Ugu after she had helped her in upgrading her roadside Ugu selling to a shop where she sold other stuffs.
Mrs Coker called just to give her some words of advise on good conducts and how to behave outside the four walls of a university.
"Good afternoon, MA", Ifeoma said as she dropped her bag and Mrs Coker's children came to hug her.
"How are you guys doing", Ifeoma asked.
"We are fine", they both chorused as Ifeoma brought a parcel of gifts she bought for them.
"Afternoon my daughter", Mrs Coker replied to Ifeoma greeting.
Mrs Coker dismissed her children to their room as they both walked to the dinning table to eat the food Mrs Coker had prepared.
"I like every taste of this", Ifeoma said.
They both laughed.
"Not to appear proud, my culinery skills is an envy of all", Mrs Coker said and they both laughed.
Mrs Coker continued, "my daughter, you have conquered the world of books, and outside world is a different ball game".
"Yes, Ma", Ifeoma replied.
"You need to stand to yourself. Make your voice heard and never cower to any opinion contrary to what you believe in and is right by your standard", Mrs Coker said again.
"Thank you, Ma! These are words on marble", Ifeoma said.
"Go and take on territories", Mrs Coker admonished and they both laughed so hard.

2002
Ifeoma convoked in a stylish way. There were food in assortments.
Families and well wishers were in abundance.
Best graduating student in her department,
Best graduating student in her faculty and Best graduating student in the whole faculty.
She got a scholarship to proceed her master degree in Harvard University and her MBA after.
Being a novel addict, Ivy league which was a dream became a reality.
