A bus conveying sizeable number of crusaders failed brake and diverted to Yewande shop, crushing her and five customers who were eating.

It tumbled twice and all the passengers it was commuting died on the spot.
Their body couldn't be recognised because the bus caught fire and they all burnt into ashes. Shops around weren't left out as lot of them and goods worth thousands were burnt down.
"Nobody survived", as noises flew around and people ran helter skelter.
Old men and women went back to their youthfulness.
Young men forgot their swag as young women found strength where there was none . All scampered for safety.
Nobody cared to call fire brigade but calling them, wouldn't have helped either.
The chaos ended after some minutes when fire brigade came to quench the fire and masses conglomerated to watch the eyesore of ashes depicting human flesh. Rumours and hyperboles became the order of the day.

As usual, Ifeoma and her teacher were coming back from school and there was an unusual traffic.
That kind of traffic was only seen when there is a break down, unrest in the area, ceremony or some other frivolities.
"I think there was a serious accident down there", Mrs Bamiloye said looking at Ifeoma, as Ifeoma giggled. Ifeoma's teacher was known as Mrs Bamiloye by her students.
Mrs Bamiloye kept thinking when they'd leave the traffic.
Then, a passersby came closer to their car after she had signalled at him.
She wanted to confirm how hectic the traffic was.
"Good day, Sir, how long is the gridlock and when would we be free?", Mrs Bamiloye asked inquisitively.
"A truck carrying fuel had  a terrible accident at the front and destroyed many things", he exaggerated with hearsay falsity.
"Ah!!!" he yelled again.
"Plenty people died", he continued.
"Okay, thank you", Mrs Bamiloye said appreciatively and wasn't ready for his unsolicited rants.
The passerby continued yelling jargons to Mrs Bamiloye pertaining what happened.
Phew, Mrs Bamiloye wasn't ready to hear any and Ifeoma was getting uncomfortable by the stench emanating from the guy.
She was relieved as their car finally moved in the gridlock and she waved goodbye to him.
"That man can talk, eh", Ifeoma said and shook her head.
"Accident killing lot of people?", Mrs Bamiloye asked rhetorically.
And Ifeoma looked sadly with a furrowed eyebrow.
"Where could that have happened", she asked again rhetorically and shook her head as she drove slowly.
Her instinct had told her there was a problem

. Their car came to a halt a minute later due to more congestion..
Ifeoma sneezed, she experiences some signals whenever their was a problem but only her mother, Yewande understood her.

Some minutes after, the road was free for good.
And their drive was smooth but saddled with silence and worries.
As they were some kilometers away from where Yewande sold food.
Everywhere looked different.
It dawned on them that the casualty befell them.
Mrs Bamiloye diverted her car and parked by the road side as she came down with Ifeoma and they ran to the location.

"Where is my mummy's stand?", Ifeoma asked with accumulated tears in her eyes.
All eyes were on them.
"Yes, where is the stand for the woman selling food here?", Mrs Bamiloye rephrased.
"You both could see what happened here?", a woman said rudely and hissed.
"How rude, will you shut up?", others chorused.
She snapped her fingers and left.
Ifeoma and Mrs Bamiloye were confused.
Ifeoma was praying in her heart that God should be merciful and her mother should be away when the accident happened.
She had her eyes around searching frantically if she could see her mother anywhere amongst the spectators.
Just then, an eye witness who witnessed the whole incidents from her shop opposite came to break the deadly news.
Mrs Bamiloye had her hands akimbo as tears, dropped down from her eyes to the cheek and then jaw.
Ifeoma was making a scene with dance drama as she cried and rolled on the floor.
She kept reminiscing how life was good with her mother and fast forwarding how everything would be bad, as her world had crumbled.

After the whole scenario,
Mrs Bamiloye promised to Ifeoma and everyone, that she would take Ifeoma home and start taking care of her.
After Ifeoma's Primary six education, she entered secondary school.
Mrs Bamiloye enrolled her in a Private secondary school along their street.
And one fateful day, when Mrs Bamiloye was coming back from school, she had an accident that made her cripple for life.
Mrs Bamiloye's  husband and children lived in the USA.
They had advised her to relocate with them but she rejected, on the passion she had for teaching.
Her children came for her and she tried to work Visa card for Ifeoma but they all failed.
Her neighbour agreed to accommodate Ifeoma.
Mrs Bamiloye was happy.
This serves as the beginning of Ifeoma's woes.

**********************
"Ifeoma do this, Ifeoma do that", Mama Bola would yell everyday.
Ifeoma woke up very early everyday to do virtually everything.
Mama Bola had been a single mother since her husband died on a brief illness and she was left with Bola and Bose.
They were both older than Ifeoma.
They both attended Ifeoma's secondary school but Mama Bola changed Ifeoma to a public school on an account she didn't have money when Ifeoma fees paid by Mrs Bamiloye expired after her J.S1 session.
From being her mother's and Mrs Bamiloye's apple of their hearts to Mama Bola's house girl.
"Crumbling world, indeed", Ifeoma fessed.
