"You shouldn't be eavesdropping dropping on other people darling." "What's ease...doping mommy?" Olivia stifles a laugh, "It's listening to other people will they speak yet you have not been invented into the conversation." "Ah! Right. But if you don't want others to listen to what you are saying, why speak in public?" "Good point," she says sitting down, "so, what are you up to right now?" "Colouring. I tried working on the numbers and words but they are soo boring." 'Little girl, it's till to early for you to be snubbing your school work.' . Go get your books." "Now?! Come-on please mom. Later?!" She half pleads, half whines. " Yes. Now. Go." "Fine." She sulks and drags her feet to the library. Olivia smiles. Alejandro looks at his son in frustration. He'd been stranded on this island for over two years now and it was beginning to run him mad. "Dad, you promised to take me home someday. Show me mom and my sister. Why are we still here." " Listen mijo. We will. I just need to figure out the safest way to leave this place." 'Maximiliano is a very strong headed boy with no patience. I suppose with parents like Olivia and I, its to be expected. Olivia and Alejandro met in London four and a half years back. He was a playboy billionaire born with a golden spoon in his mouth and she the party girl enigma that knocked him out of his senses the moment she walks into a room. They first met in the after party of a concert. She was exquisite and he could not take his eyes of her from the moment she entered the room. He'd had stories of the revolutionary Olivia Michaels who was revered in the business world but seeing here for the first time ever was a surreal experience. Sure she partied a little too hard, but who in their world did not. If anything, she was more conserved than most of the women he knew. They'd hit it off and started there romance that night. They'd travel to exclusive parties around the world, had fun and lived life. Being your own boss has its perks. He'd helped her with her drug addiction. Something apparently nobody figured out. But it wasn't until that weekend when they came to in that Vegas hotel with weeding rings and a certificate of marriage that they realized things had spiraled way out of control. Considering they'd just joined two large fortunes with not so much as a prenuptial agreement not to mention the fact that they'd committed to each other when they weren't even sure that's what they wanted, they decided to get a divorce as soon as possible. Truth be told, left to him alone, he would have left things as they were. But she insisted. So when she called him three weeks later and told him she just got her medical exams back and it turns out a husband wasn't the only thing she came out of Vegas with, he was overly excited though he tried not to let it show in his voice. 'Who would have thought, Alejandro Montero a husband and dad,' he'd thought to himself. They'd met up and decided to hold of on the divorce plans while they kept dating to seen what it will lead to. She however moved back to Kenya to try and get a grip on her life as she'd realized that soon she would be responsible for someone else.

. 'This is not the lifestyle foundation I want for my child,' she'd told him, ' I must return home.' And she did. Weeks later he joined in her homeland. He could see why she loved it there. It's simply a beautiful country. And the beaches, wow. He'd been to alot of places in the world, from Madrid, his home, to Paris, Moscow, Miami, Hong Kong, and many more cities but these here in Kenya had to be among top twenty cities and towns. There was Nairobi, Kakamega, but his favourite was Lamu. That beach house of hers was beyond words. She'd told him she'd designed it herself. Plus, the people were great. He even learnt Swahili.
