"Lizzy" I called her
She did not bulge

I woke up with a start, looked at the bedside clock
"7:30am
"OMG, am late for work"
I tapped Lizzy
She just turned around sleepily, murmured something and slept off again
I left her there and tried to prepare fast before 8:30
I dressed up cutely and smiled satisfied at my image
Lizzy is still sleeping, I covered her with wrapper
Wrote down my whereabouts on a paper and dropped it on the table
I took my bag and stepped out
I was about to enter my car when a message from Austin entered
"Remember our date tonight and remember to dress sharp, #winks#
I laughed "this guy is just something else"
I entered my car and zoomed off
On my way I couldn't stop thinking of Lizzy's recent behavior
I have to text Frank, we probably need to talk more

"Wheeewww" I murmured in surprise
There stood my supervisor in the hall
I have to sneak in to avoid being queried
I have never been late for work before, I hate being queried
I walked in quietly and thankfully she did not see me
I sighed in relief and settled in for work
My table is just full
There are many files to work on which my boss will be needing in a few minutes
I have to be fast

I picked my phone and set the alarm to 11:30

I gathered all the files he might need and walked smartly to his office as a dutiful secretary
Huh, I don't want his rant again and I have to get his permission to leave by twelve
I knocked on his door before walking in
"Where are the files" he asks with his strict face with his eyeglasses resting well on the very large nose
Ever wonder when this man will actually smile
"Here they are sir" I said and dropped it on the table
He stretched his fat hand and collected them
He glanced through them, selected the ones he needs and stood up
"I have somewhere to go, arrange my office and lock it"
"Won't be back till tomorrow morning, you have the day off" he says and walks out of the office as the big boss he is
"Oh sweet Jesus, there is no order sweeter than this"
I rushed the arrangement and locked it
I have to be at Cruz records on time. Whatever it is I have to face it
