My Past My Future - Episode 18
I tapped the enter key on my laptop furiously and yet another search not found showed bodly on the screen
"How can a famous singer like this not have a single data on the internet"
I closed the Opera mini and opened Chrome maybe its from the server
I typed in "Tracy Bliz profile" and tapped enter key looking expectantly on the screen
The search engine and network seems to add to my impatience because it opened slowly.
A picture of a young Lady performing with two guys on the stage came out
The picture wasn't clear because it's still loading
"I hate network palava" I muttered under my breath
I checked my laptop battery, it's 30%
I sighed moved my cursor to the close button and clicked on it.
"I will continue next time" I said shutting down the laptop
My doorbell rang
"Who could be visiting by this time"
I looked at the clock and its 6:30pm
"Gush, I can't believe I spent two hours on the internet"
I have been on it since I came back from work
I walked to my door and opened it wondering who will be visiting me by this hour besides am not expecting any visitor
I opened the door and there stood Lizzy with her small handbag
"Hey baby girl, do you want me to sleep outside???
She asks and walked inside the house like the landlady
I continued mopping at her
I am speechless
I just crossed my arm looking at her as she undresses
"Don't give me that look girl, I am hungry. Did you cook??
She asked and walked to the kitchen and dished out the spaghetti I hoped to eat that night
"I am going to go to bed with an empty stomach today"
"Thank God I ate with Tony" I smiled at the thought
She finished the whole food, belched and typed away on her phone
After spending over twenty minutes on the phone she turned to me, looking at me as if she is facing a panel of judges
"Forgive me girl friend" she began
"I went on an assignment, its a project we are going to exhibit next week"
"Am sorry for not sending words all this while"
She hugged and tickled me
I laughed not because I have forgiven her but because of the ticklish feeling"
"Besides she told me about her boss and work" I shrugged
"I have another one to accomplish tomorrow and I don't know when I am going to finish" she said
"So are you going to miss again"
"Nooo, I promise it will end next week"
She immediately smiled mischeviously and winked
"Now tell me about your date with Mr Austin"
"I met Tony" I blurted out
"Tony" she asks wide eyed
"The one in our department"
I nod
"Yes, Tony"
"Do you two have anything in common" she stuttered
"Well yea"
"He wants me to be his lady"
"And did you agree"
"Yes" I answered shyly
"Wow, am so happy for you girlfriend

"Do you know her" I asks with hope that she will know her and help me ease my curiosity
"No, I don't know her"
"Can I make a call please" she answered curly and turned, folding the paper and turned her back on me
