"Esse, my Proprietor's son followed me, he said he wanted to see you!" Eric shouted as he ran into the sitting room, where Ethan, Tolu and I were.

Proprietor's son? Proprietor's son? Proprietor!s son? Wait! Joseph! Oh. My. Gawd. What's he doing here? Why is he here? Ooooooo...why nah. See this alakoba o(someone that puts people in trouble) . How would he come to my house?

Joseph walked in with a little girl as I was complaining to myself. He smiled and waved at me.

"Who's this one?" Ethan asked rudely.

I sighed. This fish, must he be so rude? "Fish, that's the Joseph you've been saying you want to see." I groaned. Boys.

"Oh...hey bro." Ethan stood up, stretching his hands for a shake.

Joseph took his hands. "I see I've been a topic."

I huffed. "Tah. Topic ko, topic ni. I've not even thought about you for a sec."

Tolu and Ethan started laughing out loud. "Baba feel yourself oh. If you see the way she blushes whenever your name comes up. I never knew dark people could blush, until I met Esse," Tolu embarrassed me.

I groaned and covered my face with my hands. "You guys suck," I said as I stood up and left for my room.

"Come on babe," Joseph begged me through my room door.

I fake sniffed

. "No, leave me alone. I need some alone time." I said in a fake shaky voice.

After several begging, I finally opened my door and let him. "Use protection oh!" Ethan shouted immediately I let him in.

I sighed and ignored him. Annoying brother.

Joseph was already on the floor, laughing hard at what Ethan said. It's not that funny nah. "It's not that funny," I whined, which only made him laugh more.

I crossed my hands on my chest, pouting as I sat down on my bed childishly angry.

Few seconds he stopped laughing for real, giving us the chance to talk.

We spent hours talking about different random things. He saw my journal, and suggested I turn it to a blog in the TalkFree app. I was reluctant at first, but later saw the sense in it and agreed. He said he'd get a lot of people to follow me.

He left my room to join the video game Ethan and Tolu were playing. Pfft...boys, they're all the same.

I was chatting with the girls, arranging our girls night activities, when a voice-note dropped from a strange number.

I wanted to ignore it, but curiosity got the best of me, so I clicked on it.

"Hey." I paused it, when Toyosi voice came from the vn. I was shocked, completely shocked. Why didn't she message me instead. I check how many minutes. Five?! Jeez! I played it. "Hey, it's Ella. I'm sorry I didn't message you all these while. You'd find out the reason in this vn. First, I got your number from Ebun and secondly, what ever you hear in this vn should be kept to you." She took a deep breath, before continuing. "I'm sure you already know it about Joseph. You're really disobedient, stubborn, ignorant, and want to follow your heart. Your heart should be the last thing to follow when it comes to teenage relationship, your brain is the right thing to follow. I know it's going to be hard, since your heart pushes hard too. I've been there, so I understand what it feels like and how hard it is. Joseph is so charming and irresistible, I know. He's every girl's dream boyfriend, and having him as yours is like a dream come true. But, staying away from him is the real key to your happiness. I wish I can telling exactly what happened, but I can't. I heard you guys have pass the lip lock stage, don't worry next half he's going to be a lot more cheesy and cliche-ic, he's going to be more than perfect. But be warned that next half is also the half of the real deal." She released a shaky breath, pausing for few secs before continuing. "Please quit asking Ebun questions, her life is at risk, so is mine. But I'm kind of not in so much risk as Ebun is in. I wonder how she can be publicly friends with you, she so damn bold. I didn't want to tell you this, but I guess I have to, hoping it's going to make you see Joseph for who he is." She released a shaky breath again. "I almost committed suicide after what they did to me, that's the main reason my parents removed me from Rare Gems. I've been living in depression ever since then. I'm telling you this so you'd understand how traumatic it is. I hope you listen." She sniffed as the vn ended.

They? They? They? They?

Four minutes they was the only thing ringing in my mind. Who are these they? It's not just Joseph?

Ethan called me to come and escort Joseph, but I ignored them acting like I was at sleep.

Later in the evening the girls came by, we had fun and discussed private stuffs. Ebun was present, but like Ella had instructed I didn't ask her questions or disturb her. We had real fun, played truth or dare. I was dared by Amarachi to post 'I love Joseph Awolowo with my life' on my status, and was at the same time force.

Evil friends.
