Esse - Episode 21

 

Amarachi and I were sitting down in class, waiting for Mrs. KnowAll to post. We were talking about random things, mainly about wattpad and wattpad authors.

We were too engrossed in the talk, that we didn't hear the buzz of my computer.

“She has posted oh, and you people are still sitting here,” Ebun said in a calm very low pitched voice as she tapped my table. “Oya let's go.”

Immediately it clicked in our minds that it's Miss . KnowAll she's talking about, we quickly stood up from our seats, setting for the creative art studio. Three of us walked side by side. I feel like a movie star, who's about to find a criminal. Yo! I'm a detective.

“Where's Dammy?” Ebun asked concerned, bringing me out of my thought and making us realise her absence.

I shrugged. “Maybe she went to observe her sport time,” I replied, knowing who Dammy was, she liked play.

Ebun called a junior and ordered him to find her, and tell her our location. The junior ran off immediately.

We walked into the studio like gangsters who ran the school. “Stop there!” Amarachi shouted.

But to our greatest surprise Iseoluwa was with no computer. She was painting, an imaginary painting of something that looked like her future family, because she looked exactly like the mother in they pic

She furrowed her brows. “What are you guys doing here?” Her anger could be heard perfectly from her voice.

We all started apologizing. As we were trying to apologize and get things straight with Iseoluwa, Dammy walked in. “Is she the one?” she asked cluelessly.

I didn't know what came over me, but before I could think properly before I spoke, I shouted. “Ebun it's you.”

All eyes turned to Ebun. She looked totally confused. “Are you okay?” she asked unsure. “Me? Seriously? Me?”

Looking at the way things had been going, my problem all started when I started talking to her. The very day we had a real conversation, the next day I was the topic. Ever since then, I've never really been a secret. “Yes it's you,” I confirmed, feeling no ounce of regret. “Everything about me started when I started talking to you. All my secret, every single thing about me on Miss. KnowAll blog started when I talked to you for the first time. I trusted you Ebun, but you blew it.” It was like I wanted to cry, but couldn't

Ebun laughed humorlessly. “Seriously? You think it's me?” I replied with a nod. She laughed humorlessly again. “Seems like I over-estimated you, and now you've proved me wrong.” she sighed. “All I wanted was a friend, a true friend. And I've always wanted to be friends with you, and now you accuse me of doing you bad? I've never even done Nimi bad before, I've never gossiped about her, no matter the countless times she has about me. In my mind I had gotten friends that won't forsake me, and now you blame me for a cyber crime? Wow! Now I see the true friend in you.” with that she walked out, crying.

I felt bad. Am I a bad person? No. Then why am I always judging Ebun? Because you don't trust her yet. Yeah, I guess. No, you're bad. You're a bad bad wicked girl. All she wanted was a friend, which she saw in you. And you blew it? Bad friend.

After battling and arguing with myself, I walked out of the studio and straight to my class.

ESSE: CHIPPIE ALERT
All what I'm about to tell you, is nothing but the truth.
The well known Esse, who goes by the name Erica when she meets cute and good looking guys is officially a bimbo. I don't know much but from what I know, I know that last vacation she did Joseph, who came to her house. And also did the boy she calls brother, Tolu. And rumor has it that she did one of her brothers friend Rukky. Hmm...like I said we've all overrated this girl, she's worse than Ngozi. The only difference is that Ngozi doesn't have class, but Erica has class.
Remember, Esse a.k.a Erica is now officially the school’s chippie. Girls secure your man oh, I also heard she has irresistible charm.
Bonus News: Fun Fact
Esse had a super cute brother who doesn't like our school. And Esse is not allowed to step out of her house, except if the driver takes her. She knows nowhere, she's spoilt.

Lies again. No single threaded truth, expect for the fact Ethan is cute and doesn't like our school and Joseph came to my house.

“Is it true?” Joseph walked into the class angrily.

I sighed. “Is anything true? What she said about us is it true?”

That was when it dawned on him that, it was all lies. “I'm sorry I doubted you,” he apologized, looking sober.

“No problem.”

Joseph face changed from sober to angry. “We need to find her, now or never,” he said, clenching his fist angrily. “It has gotten out of hand, she needs to be stopped.”
