I'm getting the same feeling I usually get whenever I'm close to the school gate. I don't really know how to describe it, but my heart is racing and I was scared. Why? I don't know.

Dad drove at his usual calm pace, steady and a little slow. I sat by the window, lost in thought. Thinking of Toyosi's vn of yesterday. 'They', the word hasn't stop playing in my head .

As we approached the school sub or second gate, I noticed something strange. The securities had been changed. These ones looked tougher and unfriendly. They had AK-47's hung on their shoulder. They were in deep green khaki trousers, shirts and berets.

"Good day sir," the one that looked like their oga greeted my dad, in his thick unfriendly voice.

My dad said nothing, but simply wined down the front and back window. Hr looked at me strangely, searching my face for any expression, but my face had none except that of fear.

After looking at us for few minutes, while his guys used a device to check our car, he permitted us to move on.

I still had chills running down my spine, after he released us. He's scary.

My bag wasn't thoroughly checked like always, and this term I came with a lot of contrabands, but bonus to me I had made a name.

I escorted my dad and mom, like always

. To my surprise this time around, my dad called me and told me, "If you're still interested in your music do it." I acted like I want already doing the music, and hugged him. That was the first time I hugged my dad, since I was eight. I was glad my dad was back. I missed him. He was happy I was happy, and that was the first time I saw my dad drive away with a smile.

Like always, the girls were in groups, gossiping and gesticulating.

Ebun, Dammy, and Amarachi were already talking when I got to our bed space. They were talking about the new security, a topic that didn't surprise me. "Hmm...Chai Dammy you can talk for Africa ehn," I mocked her, when they didn't notice my presence.

"Yay Esse," Danny shouted as she jumped off the bed to hug me. I smiled genuinely as I hugged her back, tightly. I really like this girl, if there's anyone I could vouch for, that would never betray me, it's her. She's too sweet.

"So what did I miss?" I asked looking at Ebun, who was acting fine. She had a wide smile on her face, like she had no problem. 'I wonder how Ebun manages to be friends with you in the public', Ella's words rang in my head. Amarachi had started talking, but I was lost in thought. I quickly joined in, where I could.

We had dinner early that day, we were guarded to the dining and from the dining. It was really uncomfortable, prefects couldn't resume work because of the securities. No one was left behind.

Everyone has their laptops on in the hostel, hoping Miss. KnowAll would post some useful information about the new security.

Free minutes, our computers started buzzing as we had hoped. And the topic we hoped for also.

NEW SECURITIES.
I don't really know much about the new security the school has, but I overheard Mrs. Adigun talking to Mr. Fimbas. She told him she heard the principal telling the vice principal that the securities were sent from headquarters to check the students and protect them. 'Protected from?' Was the question I asked myself. I later found out from Mr. Lawal that our campus is being suspected for cultism. He said there are no suspects yet, but the headquarters claim to have received an anonymous letter from a student, who shared an awful experience she had with this cultists. And these securities are bent on finding these defaulters this term. I don't know how, but I hope they do.
Bonus News: Fun Fact
Esse is a spoilt brat, who don't know how to cook, and her parents don't let her into the kitchen. Why? Because they don't want her to burn herself. Hahahaha, funny right? Yh I know oh. She's simply spoilt by her father's riches, and her father is also a douche. I can never pray for such a father, not matter how much I love money.
**Esse I'm on for you this half, know I'm behind you, always. I hate you**

What? I don't even know her.
