"Pens up!" Mr. Kola shouted in his already loud voice, making it sound like a speaker. Peculiar and Ope didn't stop writing, they quickened their pace instead. "I'll deduct from your mark," he said angrily as he started collecting the scripts, from my roll.

"Hey," Joseph said, a little close to my ears.

I turned reflectively to him, his face was too close so I moved back a little and said, "Hey."

He smiled at me, displaying his neatly arranged white teeth. "I was thinking, err...since today is the last day of our test, do-do you...wanna hang out?" Ah! Why's Baba nah stuttering?

"Sure," I replied thoughtlessly.

His smile grew wider

. "Okay then, meet me at the music studio." With that he stood up and left the class.

It was after he left, the whole incident replayed in my head. Gosh, what I've I done? Chai! I don't hear word oh! Wait! Why am I scared of what I don't know about? Mtchew, Abegi I'm going. I quickly packed up, told Amarachi and Dammy that I was going to see Mr. Simon at the studio, that they shouldn't wait for me. With that, I made my way to the studio.

When I got there, no one was there except Joseph, and that was strange because it was never empty. "Want to see a movie?" he asked, smiling sheepishly. I felt a little bit uncomfortable and edgy.

"You have movies on your system?" I asked dumbly.

He laughed. "Seriously? Are you asking that?" I unwisely nodded slowly. He laughed, again. "You're so funny, are you sure you're a SS3 student of this school, because it doesn't seem so." He paused to laugh again.

I pouted. "Hey, that's not fair. It's not my fault I'm in the dark, duh."

He laughed again, before trying to reduce it, and then finally stop. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help it, it was too funny. I mean all students have film in their system, even juniors. This is so surprising."

"Isn't it a crime?" I embarrassed myself further.

He started laughing seriously again. "Who obey rules?" he asked in between his laughter.

I smirked at him. "Me sha. Abegi lets watch film jhoor, I've been craving."

He laughed at me again, before pulling me to a chair as he sat next to me. He told me to choose the movie I want. After going through his movie list severally, I finally chose 'Me before You'.

We watched the movies in silence.

By the time the movie ended, I was crying already. Joseph looked at me with a warm smile as he said, "Wow! So emotional."

"He died. Why did she allow him? She could have made him stay. He..."

"Shhh...it's just a movie. And it's all planned," Joseph said as he used his thumb to wipe my eyes. Awwww. "Or should I play something for you?"

I felt every bit of discomfort leave me. I nodded eagerly. He smiled as he stood up, and walked to the keyboard. I watched him eagerly, as he set it.

In few secs, he was done and ready for his performance. I smiled at him in approval, he started playing instantly. At first I didn't realise the song he was playing, but soon I realised it was Kiss Daniel's Laye. I smiled to myself. He sang along as he played, it was like I was in heaven. My dream boy and a song, played by him.

He smiled at me, displaying his set of teeth immediately he finished. "How was it?" he asked alittle unsure, but still smiling. "Did you like it?"

"Are you kidding me? I don't like it, I love it. That was awesome," I said with a super wide smile.

He smiled back at me, warmly. "I'm glad you loved it." I nodded as he stared at me. There was an awkward silence, as he kept staring at me. "Play for me," he said finally breaking the seconds of silence. I'm glad he did that.

I walked to the guitars at the edge of the room, and picked one. "I've never played infront of anyone, so I dunno.' He didn't reply, he smiled instead. I sat down on a chair, as I started playing Simi's Smile for Me. I started singing slowly, but increased my pace when he smiled, the smile of contentment.

"Wow! You're a natural," he said immediately I finished, clapping.

I couldn't hold the blush I felt, so I let it happen. I looked down and smiled like an idiot.

I wasn't looking, but I knew he stood up, and I could feel him walking toward me. He stopped in front of me. "That was awesome," he repeated as he used his right hand to lift my chin. Oh my gosh! So stuff like this happen in real life? I thought it was in Wattpad only. "You're amazing." His face was awfully close to my face, I felt uncomfortable but couldn't move. And I was still smiling like a fool. "Would you be my girlfriend?" I thoughtlessly nodded slowly. He didn't waist a sec to press his lips to mine. He stayed like that for few seconds, before pulling away.

My mind was blank, the only thing that was ringing in it was 'leave'. I did as my mind told me, and left immediately. He didn't bother calling me back. What have I done? First I accepted to be his girlfriend, and then I let him kiss me. Oh my gosh! I think I've signed myself up for something bad. But still, I feel ecstatic.

Joseph is my boyfriend, and he kissed me.
