Dangerous Romance - Episode 21

 

Guys sorry for the late update I have been very busy.

At the festival the girls danced as they pass in front of the prince more than thirty girls did the dancing but Joe.B didn't choose anyone, his father was very disappointed at him.

He introduced me to the villagers as his friend I could see the tension among some of the ladies was weird, they were desperate to become the wife of the prince but it turns out different for them.

The festival came to an end, we now have the chance to go back to city but Vera wasn't pleased with us going back. 

She has developed love for the village already but I need to go mum. 

The princess had tried seducing me on several occasions, last night she almost kissed me when Vera barged onto us. She screamed and fell unconscious holding her head, she didn't gain consciousness for six hours. 

Joe.B came to our room to see how she is doing when he came Vera had finally gain consciousness, on the bed I sat beside her as we talk... 

"Babe, how are alright?? 

" Yeah, how many days have we spend here"?? 

"About two weeks" I replied 

Two weeks without work, have you heard from Mr . Appiah?? 

I was convinced enough to know she has gain her memory back, she never mentioned work nor Mr

"We are going back to the city today so we can resume work" 

"what happened to me, has my father called to asked of me"?? 

"No, we will visit him when we get to the city "

" let's go see my father".. Joe.B said. 

"My son told me all that you are going through at the city about your land issues, I have your original papers safe with me".. 'the king said while bringing out my land papers. 

"Your friend Joseph brought them to me when he noticed those after your land had find out about the fake document he did" he is the only person who calls him by his full name 

"Thank you my king" I said in a bow 

"I will continue to keep them for you until we've brought those criminals to law" 

"Talk to your friend he doesn't want to be responsible" I knew where he was driving at, marriage he wants Joe.B to get married. 

"DAD we will take our leave darkness is approaching" Joe.B said the king wished us welfare and we departed to the city

It has been one week since we came back to the city Mr. Appiah didn't recruit a new manager we told him all that happened, Vera and I has resume work as CEO and PA. He is really a good and understanding man, for the fact that he didn't sack us from his company makes him responsible and generous man. 

After work today I went to the hospital to see my mum she is recovering gradually, my disappearance made her worried but I hope she gets better soon. 

 I called Joe.B to meet me at Benjamin's house when, we have decided to end anything danger revolving around. 

Few minutes later three of us met at his house.. 

"I was able to open the ring and this is what I find " Benjamin said and brings out a memory card, I collected it and inserted in a memory adapter 

We sat back to watch after I have installed the memory in my laptop, there were two videos on the card. 

We opened our eyes widely as the video starts to show, in the video there were a pregnant woman quarreling with a man but their back is facing the camera 

"This land was given to me by my parents and I can't sell it to your father to open his company" .., the woman said 

"I thought you said you love me why can't you do this for me"?? The man said and he walked out of the room. 

The first video came to an end and was about to watch the next video when Vera came, she sat beside me

"Where have you been??" I asked her

"I went to my father's house to pick something"

I taped on the next video and was the same man and the pregnant woman in a place that look like a weeded farm

"Give me that papers, the man said while going closer to the pregnant woman" , she moved backwards trying to avoid the man.

Their faces wasn't clear enough because they're back still faced the camera.

The pregnant woman tried running when she noticed the man was becoming dangerous but her legs couldn't carry her fast enough so the man held her cloth and pushed her to the ground as she strangled her, her breathing was slowly fading when the man saw someone watching him. 

He stopped strangling the woman and tried to tape her to stand up but she was already unconscious, he started running after the camera man who recorded the incident and the face of the man came clearly to us. 

"That's my father" Vera said pointing to the man who strangled the pregnant woman, but what happened was that we didn't see the face of the camera man. 

"That is my land the land my mother gave me" I said when I saw the blue painted boundary pole of the land. 

"How does this video relate to your parents death"??Joe.B asked in a manner of confusion 

"My father was a driver to one Mr. James Benson but was later sacked from the work because of just a flat tire " Benjamin said 

"How did you know that because you were young when your parents were killed" I asked 

"I had those information from my father's biography and the information I had was that he knew most of the secrets of his Boss and his life was in danger that's why he run to the village " 

"Who is the camera man in the video?? 

" He is my father, after he was sacked from his job he became a photographer, he wanted to find all the secrets of his Boss." He brought his father's biography 

" Who could be the pregnant woman" ?? Benjamin asked 

"Maybe she is my mum" Vera said 

What were they doing on my land?? I think my mother may have answers to these questions. 

We went to the hospital when we got there mother wasn't in her word, something unusual hit my heart. I called one of the nurses when I asked of my mum's, she had no idea of my mum's where about. 

I went to the doctor office 

"What are you telling, that you're patient is missing and you have no idea about it. 

What kind of hospital is this, I will make sure your hospital is close down, I give you two hours to provide my mum" I held the doctor shirt as I pull him from his chair to go out and look for my mum. 

"Steve calm down we will find her" Benjamin said

We went outside the hospital compound we about entering the car when an ambulance came, they quickly brought out the patient and was shocked to see my mum in a pole of blood as they carry her to the hospital. 

I run after them as they send her to the operation room, I wanted to enter but was dragged back. I couldn't control my pace 

"Sir we found this" one of the nurses gave me an envelope, I opened and was written 

"THIS IS JUST A WEANING PROVIDE THE ORIGINAL PAPERS " 

"Give me that," Vera said

"I have seen this symbol before this is my father's secret symbol " there was a symbol on the envelope. 

This is the same symbol I saw in fronof the door at my father's hotel 

"What do we do now?? Joe.B asked. 

" My father has a secret hotel which consists of night club he visit every weekend for meetings, we need to visit that hotel " 

How do we that do that?? I asked 

" There is camera's almost every where we need to trade with caution 

I know a secret door at back of the hotel, we must visit on weekends " Vera said. 

" Mother needs to be transferred from this hospital after she comes successful from the operation I know they will come back " these people are dangerous than I expected. 

Flashback 

My father travels every weekend and he doesn't talk about where he goes, one day I went for lectures on Saturday. After the lectures a friend was celebrating her birthday she invited me and when I went it was a hotel and a night club they're were having the party 

At the party I had a call and went to the extreme end of the hotel to pick the call, when I got there I heard scream of someone who was been tortured. 

I slowly peeped through a door and saw three man, my father and his guards torturing a man to speak a truth about something. 

I couldn't watch more because they were coming out, I rush out of the place and when I trace them as they passed through a narrow gate that leads to the main hall of the hotel. 

From that day I began visiting the hotel on every weekend and went through the hotel rooms to see what they actually do. They were a big room which was locked with modern door and had possword .......
