Dangerous Romance - Episode 27

 

This  short episode is dedicated to all readers especially those who had heart attack in episode 25.

In the room we sat down as I began to tell them how it happened... 

Three years ago after the judge sentences, on our way to the pack where the shooting will take place the car suddenly had a flat tire on one side.

The flat tire happened at a bushy area, later after the flat tire I heard a gun shot but because of the nature of the car I couldn't see what was going on outside. Few minutes later the car started moving again, we arrived at the pack . After we were tied up to the tree one of the police men who covered my face with the sack put something in my clothes but I didn't know what it was.

About three hours after the shooting I wake up still alive, I scanned my eyes over my body and realized there was no wounds or blood in my clothes. The blood in my clothes was a fake blood, Benjamin and some group of guy's came to the room and welcomed me to live again.

I was confused until Benjamin told me how he managed to safe my life.

This is how he did it.....

He knew the murder of Mr. Mark and everything happening at the court was a setup so he went and arranged with his gangs to rescue me, on the day of the final verdict at the court one of the guy's was at the court giving them information about what was happening while Benjamin and the remaining gangs were hiding in the bush to await the arrival of the police car which was sending us to the shooting field. 

The other guy at the court gave them information that the car was coming so they spread sharp metals and broken bottles on the road, that led to the flat tire, 

There were three police men in the car. 

When the car had a flat tire they all got down and began changing the tire that was when Benjamin and his gangs came out from their hid out and poured a white powdery substance on them as they go unconscious..... 

They changed into the police uniform and tied the police men up. 

The only people who were killed physically was the other two criminals among the sentence, I was shot with a fake bullet by Benjamin. 

He was the same person who placed the fake blood substance in my clothes, the bullet was a mixture of unconscious substances and that made me unconscious. 

When I wake up he had already finished with my plane ticket to Nigeria, he flied me to Abuja on that night after I regain consciousness so that the police and people won't find out am still alive. 

When I came to Abuja I had no place to lay my head, the money I came with wasn't enough to sustain me in a hotel for a week

. I checked out of the hotel and was looking for a place to stay. I was just roaming about in the street 

when a guy snatch Mr. Destiny's bag from him immediately he came out from a bank, I was quick enough I grabbed the guy and gave him two dirty punches he dropped the bag and took to his heels. I rescued Mr. Destiny from robbery and that how he took me home .... 

He has been calling me Son he treat me like his biological child, he's really a God sent. 

One week after I met Vera and Sandra , we decided to go back to Ghana.

 I can't continue to run away from my enemy's, I need to fight for what belongs to me. It time to settle with my family get married and live without any hindrances and who ever is after my land am coming for you, you either die or I die... 

Two day later we went back to Ghana, Benjamin and Joe.b were happy to see me again. We've planned to invade Mr. James hotel this time with destruction, the video we recorded on our last visit was with Joe.B. 

"let's send the video to him" Benjamin said after we finally find the video on Joe.B laptop. 

"How will that benefit us?? I asked 

" We will use that to threaten him,"

" How?? Joe. B was also confused on how Benjamin was going with the plans. 

"We will blackmail him through this video" Benjamin has always been genius when it comes to matters like this. 

"Without a second thought we sent him the video" 

Few minutes later he called I picked the call and placed on loud speaker. 

"Mr. James, I hope you like what you've seen... 

" hang up now they are tracking us" Benjamin said and I hang up. 

"This man is smarter than we thought" he began calling again but we didn't pick. 

"We will call him back when we have find a different location to lodge" 

We drove to an uncompleted building and called him back... 

"Mr James we know you are tracking us, if you don't want the video to get to the media bring your company's papers. 

"Which of my company are you talking about?? He asked in a manner of fear. 

We were confused with which of his company's to choose

"The leather and design company" he was speechless for some time that's was when I noticed he is the one after my land, it was the same company thry have build on the land.. 

"Drop the papers at the Kasoa road in a black 4X4 car packed at the road side and walk backwards for five minutes you will see an envelop containing your video on the floor" 

"How are my sure you won't have a copy"?? 

"That is in your own interest Mr. James, you have thirty minutes to drop the papers and mind you no smart play" I said and hang up. 

We quickly went and packed the car at the road side with one glass rolled down, we hid in the bush. Finally I have seen the person after my land, this man is heartless and wicked but this time I will show him the bad side of me. 

Few minutes later we saw a car slowing down beside the car we've packed there, he got down holding an envelope in his hand. He scanned his eyes around to see if someone was looking at him, slowly he dropped the papers in the car and was about turning to leave when I came out from the bush and pointed a gun at him. 

"Get into the car now" I shouted at him but he feeling reluctant to enter. 

Get inside now! I scream at him when I saw a car speeding to our direction, before I realized I was on the floor as a gun sounded. Joe.B was on top of me. 

"Come on stand up" I saw Mr. James running toward his car as his gangs in the other car shoot continuously in our car, we hid behind the car when Benjamin shouted from the bush... 

"Get out from there, the car has caught fire" Joe.B and I jumped into the bush as we craw slowly to avoid any bullet to hit us.. 

We find a tree and hid behind it, I crane my head and saw Mr. James and his gangs speed out of the area. 

Fire began to come out of our car we run from there, I called the fire service personnel before they got there the car had almost burned. 

"f*ck we've loss the papers and our car" I said. 

"Not yet over guys" , Benjamin said holding the papers as he shake them vigorously in the air.....
