Dance With Me - Episode 1
He checked the time-
It was around some minutes past 2 in the morning. He sighed, lifted up the half-empty cup in his hand and then gulped it down.
The channel was showing a movie which he was not interested in. His mind was somewhere else.
What kind of shooting was she doing since morning that she was not back? This was going too far.
He took his legs from the table where they had been resting since he had gotten home, which was about an hour ago. Then he stood up and walked to the room.
He entered the bathroom and took a quick shower . As he was doing this, he heard the sound of a car driving in. He paused, turned off the tap and walked out of the bathroom with soapy water dripping from his body.
He was messing up the floor but he didn’t care. Instead, he walked nakedly to the window and drew the curtain apart. When he saw what he had dreaded, his hands rolled into a fist.
Outside was his girlfriend, laughing and standing with the man he hated most-that bastard of a white man! She was laughing as the man hugged her and then kissed her on both cheeks.
He kept on watching as his girlfriend waved at the man and then walked seductively away from his car…
He watched as the white man licked his lips while watching the lady leave…..the white man got into his car and drove away…
He dropped the curtain and walked quickly to the door. Without saying anything, he locked the door from behind….then he went back to continue his shower.
He could tell that she was probably knocking, but the noise of the water was loud enough to prevent him from hearing…she could go back to wherever she was coming from….
