I watched him from the corner of my eye, he smiled and I couldn't help but wondered what made him do so.The smile vanished immediately making me feel bad. Happens my David doesn't smile a lot.
The lawyer starts the questionings, he answered for himself but my parents answered most of my questions and we are exchanging rings. I promise to be your lawfully wedded husband even if I don't want to. He vows and put the ring in my finger and kissed my hand, I smile that's the sweetest gesture he has made towards me.
I promise to be your lawfully wedded wife,I won't give up trying to be your no matter what . I say the vow my mum had made me memorize then I put the ring on his fourth finger.
Happy married life. The lawyer announced when we signed our marriage certificate. I hug my new mother in law and my parents I'm so happy. I wanted to join my parents as the left but they told me to stay with David.
We sat awkwardly, he is uncomfortable, I am uneasy. After some minutes he says. This marriage is under my rules.... I folded my hand in front of me, my brain could be found in between the different dishes my mum had prepared for a small family reception........I make the rules, you obey them. I nod at his words, I know he is the head and I'm just the neck. You are not to work, I do the working, you only cook, keep the house right and just be a housewife.
House wife! I exclaimed in shock no, I didn't even know how to cook, I wasn't.... Time to eat Mr and Mrs David Jack
