The Marriage
After the announcement from my mum, I went inside my room to prepare, I couldn't wait to see David my crush, my mums says he's the most handsome man in his mothers firm, his mother, Mrs Julian is my mums friend. I look back at the past few months and smiled,its been the best worst months in my life, the kind of trauma I went through befits the blessing of marrying a handsome man at age 24.
Chioma, its time,David and his mother have arrive. At the news I hurriedly picked up my discarded teddy bear pullover and my trousers(my favorite) I made my hair in two pony tails, picked my Snow White doll.
Bestie,I'm getting married today, and you're going to be my bridesmaid . I said to my friend,she didn't answer as expected.
On arrival at the sitting room, I saw the lawyer first then Mrs Julian and finally my David. Good afternoon all!I greeted and took the seat next to David. He is really handsome, his sideburns, gosh one could think he is a model.he is fair and tall like from the way he sat I knew I would have to stand on a short stool before reaching his height.
Stop staring.
The voice is so cold and rude,I can't believe it cane out from his mouth, I mean I expected him to say something nice, especially my teddy bear pullover. He immediately stands to his feet and walks out,Mrs Julian follows him.I don't like this.
David's POV
I am irritated,how could my mum and her so call friend put me in this kind of case,I had expected a woman not a doll,who wears a teddy bear pullover on her wedding day,which 24 year old carries a doll around like she's some kid .
David!
Yes mum.I replied turning to face the master planner of the gibberish. Come inside and continue with the marriage

. My mum says in a forceful voice, she was angry with me I know and didn't want to suffer her wrath. But mum, she is still a child, a kid...... Shut up David, she interrupted me, I couldn't counter her though I wanted to, she's been my rock and I owe her. "Can't I fulfill my promise any other way?" I ask hoping for escape, my mum only shook her head and I loosed, so I followed her back inside.
I think her mum told her to go change up, she now wears a flare skirt with a black shirt, the toy was no longer I. Sight and she looks just like a proper house wife.
Housewife? that will be better, I won't wash nor cook anymore, nor need Ella or a maid, it was the best thought ever, I am going to make her a HOUSE WIFE.
