(Baba kekere's hut. It is night, Drumming and the sounds of nocturnal insects can be heard in the background. Baba kekere sitting comfortable in his hut, sipping his Palm wine from time to time.)

AYOADE : ( Enters ) The story seems interesting and
Educating. What happened at last?

BABA KEKERE : (Gives an enigmatic smile) That night, Ade had a mixed feeling. He couldn't sleep . He was unhappy and discontented. Thinking of when he will finally get the gold in his fist: how he will treat some
people that has disgraced him. ( Sips his drink )
He even asked for an advice from his wife who
always wanted to live a luxury life.
(Ayoade giggles) What do you expect ? ( laughs
softly).
After 2 days , Adio absconded with the money to
the City. Ade was left with nothing, Ade
was confused, worried, unhappy. Ade was illogical
especially with the pressure from his wife and his
friend.

AYOADE : Uhmm......
His Mind is in a mess....

BABA KEKERE : (Chuckles) If you allow that ....
Ade made arrangements to sell his farm but
Enitan begged him to give him the farmland. Ade

. Enitan brought out his old
shoes to trade for the farmland.
Ade and his wife followed Ola to the city. Ola
established a business for Ade and travelled
aborad to settle down with his family.
After few months, Ade invested in a very big
business introduced to him by one of his business
partners, he was duped.
(Ayoade choked on his drink)
Ade was emotionally, physically and financially
depleted. He was so disheartened especially when
his wife left him.
Adio on the other hand, was later killed in an hotel
by armed robbers.
Back home, some foreign researchers discovered
that there are golds on the farmland Enitan bought
with his old shoes. (Ayoade exclaimed)

Boy, the same lesson applies to our lives : It's what is inside that counts. When our attitude is right, we realize that we all have gold in our fist.
Opportunity is always under our feet.Sometimes we don't have to go anywhere, all we need to do is recognize it .The grass always look greener on the other side. While we are busy eyeing the grass on the other side, there are others who are eyeing the grass on our side, we all need to be careful and prayerful before taking any decision in life because to everything, there are seasons, and times to every purpose under heaven. What actually works
out for your friends might not work out for you.
(Ayoade nods)
Many people have lost their lives because of this
boiling desire to make money.

Hmm...... Our attitudes of mind, our attitude to
any decision we make matters a lot. Some people want us to be a better person in life, then introduce us to their line but we have to be careful, not all path leads to one's success. What works for Mr A might not work for Mr B.
( Olu and Ade)
An Old friend said " Don't cut the tree down doing winter time". We should not make a decision when we are down or confused ( Ade, when Adio absconded with his money). Ade made the wrong decision because he was sad, down and unhappy. Being watchful of whom we ask for advice (Ade and his wife, Joy , who wanted to live a luxurous life.)

Hmm, the old man serves as every man's mind.We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. (The Old man's prophecy to Ade, and Ade's interpretation- what we feed our mind, the thoughts and actions we take, makes us understand many things about life.) When the
mind is pure, joy follows, like a shadow that  never leaves.Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.( Ade and Enitan's decisions in life) That is why it is so crucial to make the right decision at the right time and not when you are down, when you seem not to recognize lust and success.(In Adio's case) Boy, success doesn't mean the absence of failures; it means the attainment of ultimate objectives, It means winning the war, not every battle.(Edwin C. Bliss) You have what it takes at your fist to make an impact, any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude towards it, for that determines our success or failure. (Sips his palm wine and adjusts his glasses. A solemn tone plays underground until the scene fades out).
