At One's Fist - Episode 1
SCENE 1 : EXPOSITION
(Scene Opens with Ayoade. He grunts as he enters the sitting room and throws himself on the sofa. Ayoade's grandfather, Baba Kekere notices Ayoade's mood.)
BABA KEKERE : What happened, son? (In a din voice)
AYOADE : Baami, Is this how we will continue? (Sighs and drop his credentials on the table) I've been going helter-skelter seeking for job. (bows his head in a dramatical way like a lost cause.)
BABA KEKERE : (Adjusts his glasses)
Son, I can understand what you are going through.I know how hard things are now, especially when you see your mates you graduated around the same time driving exotic cars, building gigantic houses and companies.
AYOADE : Even Bayo just bought new car last week! (In a burst)
BABA KEKERE : (Smiles)Ayo...You need to calm down and have faith in God that everything will be fine . Don't waste a minute by not being happy, if one window closes, run to the next window or break down a door.
AYOADE : ... But Baami, we need to step back and look at the kind of society we have created for ourselves. It is tough to expect positive behaviour in a negative environment. Society where lawlessness becomes the law, honest citizens become cheats, crook and dacoits.
BABA KEKERE : Ayoade

AYOADE : (With a loud sigh) I just pray..... Our leaders make things even worse. I don't blame People that engage themselves in cyber crimes and co, just to survive.
BABA KEKERE : (Chuckles) Son, any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude. Doing dubious things to survive is not an option to humanity. (Ayoade remain speechless) Son... ( Pats him) More to life, boy, I want to take a nap,we will talk later. ( Baba Kekere leaves for his room)
