Doctor,I have been looking for you. The girl in ward eight,that just had an abortion is dead. Said one of the nurses shaking.
So should I come and wake her up? Please get out of here and go pack her up. The doctor replied angrily.
Sarah was still on the bed listening to everything. She was so scared,she was shaking.
What if I die too? She asked herself.
When the doctor came close to her,she quickly jumped out of the bed. She told the doctor she no longer wanted to abort the child
. She has decided to keep the baby. She asked for her clothes,got dressed and joined Titi at the reception. Titi was surprised to see her out of the operation room so soon. It usually took up to one hour and above.
Sarah,how far? Titi asked.
Lets go back to the hostel,I have decided to keep this baby. Sarah said and headed to the hostel leaving Titi behind.
Titi kept on asking why Sarah had suddenly changed her mind about the abortion. She still couldn't figure out why she ran out of the operation room. The only reason Sarah kept giving her was that she wanted to have the baby.
Very early the next morning she went for classes. She noticed people were still staring at her and some were insulting her to her face. She wondered what might have increased the rate at which people gossiped about her and then she found her that they have heard about her visit to the hospital to abort her pregnancy

A lady even walked up to her,slapped her on the face and called her abusive names. Sarah couldn't do anything. She ran to her room and started crying.
Very early in the morning,she went back to the hospital and told the doctor she wanted to have the abortion this time. The doctor refused to pay her any attention because of what happened the last time. But after much begging and crying,the doctor decided to help her out. She was taken into the operation room and the baby was aborted. She woke up on the hospital bed feeling very weak. She never thought it would be that painful. She tried to stand up from the bed but could not. She felt the cloth she was putting on was soaked and when she looked on the bed,she saw blood. She was so scared. A nurse entered her room,when she saw how much Sarah was bleeding, she quickly went to call the doctor.
I think she has a tear. The doctor said.
Sarah was then taken to the operation room to be operated a second time. The nurse was asked to call one of her relatives. She quickly called Titi, since she left her number the last time she came with Sarah.
Titi came one hour after,she asked if she could see Sarah but was told to wait at the reception. Thirty minutes later,one of the nurses came.
Please where is Sarah's family?
Titi quickly jumped up and followed her to the doctors office. She was so scared, what could have happened?
Your friend had a tear during the abortion. I thought it was a minor tear,but when we opened her up again,it was a big tear,so we decided carry out hysterectomy,we tried removing her womb. Unfortunately, she had lost too much blood during the abortion. Sorry Titi,we lost your friend. The doctor said and left Titi in his office to attend to another patient.
She was dumbfounded, she couldn't believe it.
