Na you dey think like that. I have aborted so many times and nothing has happened to me. No be new thing. Titi said looking at Sarah.
Sarah couldn't believe her ears,she knew Titi was wayward,but not to this extent. She thanked Titi for wanting to help and then walked out of the room to clear her head
. Even though she didn't want the baby,she still wanted to keep it because Mrs Mercy had told her God has a reason for allowing the child at that time. Mrs Mercy was her confidant, she knew Mrs Mercy wanted the best for her and didn't want to disobey her. Titi kept on pressurizing her to terminate the pregnancy anytime Sarah came back from class crying. She insisted on keeping the child no matter how tough situations were until she no longer felt comfortable with the way people stared at her in school and even at her fellowship on Sundays. One Sunday,she heard two sisters gossiping about her.
I heard she is a street dog. She goes from one street to the other looking for men to........you know nau. One of the sisters said to the other.
I use to think she was a gently and responsible girl. Said the other sister.
Gently for where,almost all the boys in her class have slept with her. This is not the first pregnancy she is having o,I heard she has aborted three other pregnancies before this one

The doctor told her that she will loss her life if she tries to abort this one, she is heartless. Answered the first sister.
Sarah started crying,she couldn't control herself. Why were they judging her without even getting to know the type of person she truly was. She decided to stop going to church so as to save the little dignity she had left.
She went to class very early in the morning and left immediately after lectures. She stayed at home on days she had no lecture to save herself from embarrassment. Mrs Mercy had told her she was going to face a lot of challenges but she wasn't expecting it to be this much. She had thought they were going to forget about her the next week and pick on someone else. But to her surprise, it still continued,her story was still the headline for the school gossip. Some of her friends stopped talking to her in fear of being seen with a street dog. So many times,she stayed in her room crying throughout the day.
Should I just abort this child and move on with my life? She asked herself.
She decided to put an end to everything. She thought about what Titi had told her. She felt it was better to end everything and be free. They already said she aborted three babies,what difference will it make if she aborted this one too?
But she was scared,she could loss her life in the process and end up in hell. Uyoyo her younger sister had done it so many times and she was still alive. One day, she called Titi and told her she was ready to abort the pregnancy. It has brought enough shame and disgrace to her.
Titi took her to a hospital not too far from their school. That was where she had her last abortion. Titi told her the doctor there was very good at such work.
Sarah was asked to pay some amount of money which she paid,she was then taken into the operation room. She was asked to remove her clothe and put on a purple linen. Just as the doctor was about to inject her so as to make her sleep,someone screamed at the door.
