Tunde held the staring with so much strength, his veins shot out as vivid as the petiole of any leave.....he cursed under his breathe....he remembered he was yet to start his car. He inserted the key angrily into its hole and with so much vigour started the car. He drove out of the car park so carelessly he almost knocked down a couple having a "good time" in the dark. he got into the road just in time to miss a truck.....the driver of the truck called out "drunk mad man" . Tunde did not reply him, he evidently was not in the mood for petty talks, he had a woman to find.

His thought was totally unpleasant, his heart felt like a volcano was already built and set for eruption, and he wondered why he never introduced her to any of his friends. Few months ago she had asked him what the feature of their relationship was. Tunde could not help but worry. He tuned the music to its highest volume, the radio station was playing Adele's "set fire to the rain", evidently, the day was against him.  He turned the music off and chose to drive in the company of his own thought. "Ada is a cheat" a voice in his head said. She would have to tell him why she was cheating on him with his friend. He drove faster; trying not to think, however, his mind played a fast one on him......

He remembered against his wish, the events of that evening.

He had just sent her a message when his secretary walked in with a rather large file....he sat down and gradually read through the file, he was stunned

. Three million naira cannot just vanish, he was the accountant and he couldn't account for the three million naira the auditors claimed where missing. he picked his jacket from the wooden hanger at the right end of his table, he picked his phone with his left and meticulously carried the large file on his right hand and headed for his Manager's office.

"Sir", Tunde began, "I got the file you sent me"

Mr. Femi turned his seat to face Tunde, he looked at him from the corner of his eyes and said emotionlessly

"Explain the missing money to me"

"I have no idea how the money disappeared"

"Disappeared! This is my dad's company and accountability is of utmost important". Femi looked at Tunde for the first time. He removed his glasses and continued "You have until tomorrow to be reasonable enough to provide answers." He put back his glasses on and turned his seat so he could gaze at the beautiful view from his window. His voice was calm, cold.

"But sir.."

"I do not want to hear a thing. Shut the door behind you". Femi did not move. His posture was fixed. Femi was no extra-ordinary man, he was short, with pot-belly and a voice too deep for his structure, and he was just twenty four....too fortunate for his own recognition. Tunde could beat him up if the chance came.

Tunde walked out of the office and drove to the bar. He was drinking his worries away when she walked up to him. She wore a blue bodycon dress which was way above her knees. He had noticed her sitting with some guy at the third sit on his left, he was tipsy enough to not notice when she abandoned her date.

"Hey! Tunde!"

"Hey!" he said absent mindedly. Thanks to the alcohol he has been drinking

"What's wrong" She asked rubbing his back as her fingers found their way to the base of his spine.

He took her hands off of him immediately.

"I don't need your concern. Go meet your man." Tunde replied at the top of his voice and then belched. She left him to his fate and walked back to the man she was with. She said something to him and they both laughed heartily. Twenty five minutes later, he stood up with feeble legs and made wobbly steps to the exit, he almost fell if not for handle of the door which he was quick to hold. She stood up and went after him, abruptly ending her date. She watched him try to open his car door to no avail, his key fell and he searched for it. She made to help him but this was not her moment. She trailed him from a good enough distance as he drove on the passenger’s lane. She waited for him to drive in first, it was his own house. He staggered to the door and was about to lock the door when she walked into the sitting room. Thanks to alcohol, he was weak, and she made it through, he had kept her away from his house, but today, he had lost his will power to alcohol.

. He slummed into the sofa with resignation, she locked the door and sat by the arm of the same sofa and played with his hair like mothers will do their children.

"What happened? Why are you so gloom and drunk" she asked with a voice filled with love.

"I have a huge error with the finance at my place of work." Tunde replied, fondling with his hands.

"How huge?" she asked

"Three million naira"

"That is huge" she said with her eyes wide open that one would believe the eyes belonged to a ghost.

"I have seen the end of me" he said and a tear dropped.

She pulled him to a warm embrace. She held him tight, his phone rang but she switched it off, beaming a mischievous smile. Her lips came to a halt on his ear lobes, she gave him a soft bite and ran her tongue around it, he tried to stop her, but he really was enjoying it. She continued to kiss his neck, and then travelled to his jaw. The better part of him woke but he could fill hormones being deposited at the right places at the wrong time. Her hands went for his head and she locked his lips in hers. The tips of their tongue became the music and their body the dancer, moving in the rhythm set by their kiss. His body lost all form of control when her hands touched his middle man, emotions poured. She unbuttoned his shirt as she kissed him, he knew he wanted her, he reached for bra, unstrapped it and with kisses, he adored every part of her.... and like Delilah, she lured him to his own doom.

He called out "my sweet Ada, ecstasy never felt this well".

He woke and was shocked to find her by his side unclad, he looked at himself and he too was naked. He woke her up vigorously.

"What is it? I am tired."

"Chioma, did we make out?" he asked with hesitation.

Chioma moved closer so she could lie on him, he pushed her and jumped down the sofa.

"Did we make out Chioma?" he asked with rage...

Chioma stood up and walked round the sitting room in search for something, she stopped when she saw her red panties on the floor, behind the sofa they had made out on

"Yes we did, and you loved every bit of it." Chioma said with a smile and a fixed gaze on Tunde's nakedness. Tunde followed Chioma's gaze and realised he was still naked, he picked his shirt with haste and tied round his waist.

"God! Live my house! Ada is your friend, you are so unbelievable...I had a date with Ada and...You daughter of Jezebel, queen of seduction took advantage of my plight yesternight....... get out of my house now." he said throwing her gown at her and using his leg to kick her bra.

"Whatever! You are such an ingrate!" Chioma said as she dressed up....Tunde headed for his room and had no idea when Chioma left.....

Stupidly, that morning, the auditors sent in another copy of the audit to the firm, and the three million misconception was cleared….
