The unforgettable occurrence has spread to the whole students. Different types of pictures were uploaded on different social media, and most of the lecturers have known about it. I found it difficult to walk on campus as usual, because students did point at me from unknown angles
. The issue has been the top story in the mouth of most of my course mates and my name was totally replaced with “Mr. Lover Boy” although I felt sad for some days but I later came to the conclusion that what I did was great
Prof Adeyemi came to our class some weeks after the unforgettable incident. Immediately he came in, he addressed us and saluted us for our great performance in the mid semester test which I missed. After the appraisal, he called my name and I went straight to the podium, I wasn’t myself any longer when my mates started shouting my new name; Mr Lover Boy” I felt like dying that day, but I held myself as a man.
Prof asked me the reason behind my absent in various classes and the mid semester test, I started blabbering , looking up and down. mMy colleagues still continue with their shouting “Mr Lover Boy” I was greatly ridiculed and I was ashamed of myself unlike the first day the man celebrated me.
Due to my unconsciousness, the man told me to meet him in his office immediately after the lecture

. As I was leaving the podium, they started shouting again, I felt sad , I couldn’t look up till I got to my seat. As the man finished the lecture I followed him immediately.
As I entered his office, he ordered me to have my seat and I obeyed, though I wasn’t comfortable. He started by asking me what has caused my absence in various classes and the reason behind it. I lied to him that I was sick and I have been at home for over three weeks after I was discharged from the hospital. As I said this, he ordered me to keep shut!.
He brought out his phone and showed me one of the pictures he downloaded from a social network I was astonished, I stood up from the chair and started wailing on the floor for favour.
A father indeed, he ordered me to standup after some minutes and advised me to do away with anything that can distract me from my academics, because that is the main reason while I am in the university. Another test was conducted in my favour but I couldn’t perform as usual when the result was pasted. I started thinking on what the Prof said to me that very day for almost two weeks and I attended all the lectures for that week although I didn’t concentrated because I was busy chatting on my phone. The emotion killer advice of the Prof sweep off my mind as I return back to my adventurous life.
