Why the Pretence - Episode 6
The semester was gradually coming to an end, exams drawing near, weely activities was suspended, and church had to close early ,so that everyone can spend quality time with their books and no one will tag their failure to the church.
The only or major program we had this year was mega praise season 9, it was an awesome experience, the choirs and their Lovelyn attires Wrap top and black skirt for d ladies and the guys shirt (of the same material) and trousers, their ministration was the lit, I was indeed blessed.
My unit acted , the drama blew mind, there was stage disappearance, we burnt someone on stage, the drama was awesome and people where so scared thinking it was real, there was a standing ovation for us after the drama
The ushers worked perfectly well, they wore purple and black with their berret , then the welfare unit and commercial unit, they prepared a sumptuous snacks for everyone. It was a remarkable day, and with that we got more members to our fellowship, even my friend Jasmine and his sister Rhoda started coming to our church.
We never heard from Pauline ever since that day, she did not even come for mega praise, almost all students from other fellowships attended it, I saw victory her best friend there, I tried talking to her before the drama ministration, but she said Pauline is fine don't bother yourself.
The next Sunday was Thanksgiving Sunday for mega praise, we wore the fellowship T shirts , 5 different colors, the church was colorful every one was happy.
Jane did not change, she kept on ignoring me at home, pretending all is well in church . Three weeks after the program exams started, I had medical biochemistry has my first paper, it wasn't funny at all, Kelvin ,I and Jasmine went together to the computer based center, we met brother Daniel, this very day he walked up to us and said I will be going in with you guys, my test was bloody I had 2 , he confessed.
Kelvin chuckled and I pinched him tell him to behave, we eventually entered the hall, I told Daniel not to log in immediately, though I was scared of the exam , but I just had to cross my heart, and I hate people failing, I did mine and also helped Kelvin with some, Jasmine was also intelligent , he helped me a little and I also did, I had 45/70, Jasmine 42 and Kelvin 40, I had a B , Jasmine and Kelvin had a C, because of their test scores

. I helped Bro Daniel, he had 55/70, I was shocked, his score was high , he hugged me, plus his test he had a C.
After the test, Daniel continue ignoring us, Jasmine said angrily so he used us to pass exam, what nonsense.
Kelvin laughed you have not seen anything yet, we had an impromptu workers meeting, so we went after the exam.
It was a very sad information, we just lost Happy our beautiful choir with awesome voice, you need to see the choirs crying, only God knows what killed her, her friends and room mate refuse to tell us, some said it's cold, some headachy, some said she slept and never woke up again.
On Sunday ,we prayed for her soul and everyone hoped she has gone to heaven. I hope so too, but I just wish I knew what killed her, my crush is gone. Tears dropped from my eyes, Kelvin tapped me, be a man Seyo. God loves her best.
