Handing Over
Pauline stopped picking my calls all of a sudden, and never showed up in service.
The handing over Sunday was finally here, we had lot of activities for the day, the choir ministration was awesome, Pride took the worship session it was amazing, the very small girl in that always minds her business and smiles at all time in church.
AMD Funmilayo lead the praises, it was unusual, her voice was so melodius, her skirt was very long, her hair was well covered, with no make up, I remembered Happy anytime I saw her, they had this striking resemblance, just that she was much taller and prettier than Happy.
The prayer coordinator, Bro Daniel blasted in tongues throughout the prayer session, giving lots of testimonies the one that shocked me was the one he said he slept with a life snake for two days, he told God to make the snake unharmable, then the second day, he picked the snake up with his bare hands to throw away.he now use this Bible verse, God has given you the power to thread upon scorpions and snake and they won't harm you.
Kelvin shouted and we burst out laughing, Bosun said it might be true oo, don't underestimate God's power.
Pastor Laide, our zonal pastor preached that day , then after the whole preaching the excos of 2017/2018 was dissolved, then they inagurated new excos , they made Jane the sisters coordinator, Jasmine brothers coordinator, Chioma was still the chief usher, they made Pride the AMD, Funmi was HOD welfare, Bosun was HOD drama, prince was the new MD, MD Mike wasn't given any position, Bro Daniel was the vice President, Pst Grace was the president, Vivian was the Secretary general etc, I wasn't called, Kelvin wasn't called, I was angry but Kelvin calmed me down do you serve God because you need position, he said and I replied no, then he said calm down remember exams starts on Tuesday.
After the service, Bosun was surprised , he still kept on moving with us, but Jasmine started forming, I had two exams that week Anatomy and General studies, I had an A in GST, and anatomy I had 60/70, same with Kelvin, Bosun had 58, we we're happy, we all had A ind course, see people crying because of carry over, I was thankful to God for crowning my efforts with success.
Jasmine on the other hand entered the hall with Kenny and Ben, they couldn't help him because of the strict invigilation, he had 30out of 70, Ben told us , so he had a carry over.
He lied to us, he scored 50, that he had an A, we smiled and said congratulations together as if we planned it Sunday was fast approaching I wanted to see, how the new regime will be?
