Why the Pretence - Episode 3
Fresher's Sunday is finally here, it was awesome , especially when it came to singing , all fresher's wanted to be noticed with their off key voice.
Semester activities became more serious, with resumption of weekly activities, on a Wednesday service it was announced that Pauline's lost her dad after he battled with cancer of the brain, it was a difficult time for her, some church members attended the burial, Pauline resumed to school, after a while she stopped coming to church, she changed her line.
No one knew what was wrong, after some weeks me and Kelvin saw her when we where returning from the Market one day.
Sister Pauline we said together, you haven't been coming to church,is everything ok, she just ignored us and passed, we wanted to follow her but her friends threatened us.
I wondered what happened to her, she was very friendly and an effective and polite usher, I turned to Kelvin , I think her father's death is affecting her so badly, I pity her Kelvin said.
Just say u miss her, i said, he just smiled saying it's not funny. I remember how he told me he had a crush on her , and when he confronted her she started speaking in tongues and told him not to allow lust overwhelm him
It was funny tho, I know Kelvin still liked her, but she was over spiritual.
We finally trekked home,on getting home we net Jane fighting with Elohor in the compound, I asked Osas what happened trying to separate them,

Elohor broke her bucket , she asked her to replace Elohor refused and they started exchanging words before it lead to this big fight.
Kelvin and I separated them , after so many trials we succeeded in separating them with which I sustained an injury.
Kelvin was extremely disappointed in Jane, it was the first time he saw her fighting, though I use to tell him , but he never believed.
She is too spiritual to fight he alway say.
