whisker's whispers - Episode 11
Gertrude's pov
I drove on excited to meet Eddy. I knew he sounded akward over the phone and curt my call but maybe he was just tired. In my subconscious I dreamt of him arranging a candle light dinner with candles, box of chocolates and roses. Both of us laughing and having fun then him finally kneeling down to ask me to marry him after all these years I've finished my exams and that was all we were waiting for. I was about to give him a call that I was in the car park but I decided to surprise him.
I saw a Cadillac parked there who owns this car because I know very well that among the three cars Eddy owns Cadillac is not among them . I decide to park a little distance away and I tiptoe towards the door peeking through the window only to find a Lady barely dressed.
"You have to leave now Gertrude will soon be here" Eddy shouts. "I'm not leaving Ed I thought you said you loved me!" the girl who I've come to recognize all these years as China said. "China you know I need her money meet me tomorrow and we'll play the game well" he winked at her drawing her for a kiss.
By then tears had covered my eyes forming tear ducts so Eddy was back to His old tricks. I could not think and out of anger I pushed the door open
