“Please love, he is too very young, I don’t think it’s appropriate for him to start taking an art class right now.”
“But we have discussed this...why are you still bringing this up?”
I sighed and kept quiet. Then I bent down to embrace my son.
“No problem mum, I think I will like it.” Freddie said, kissing me on the cheek and entering into the vehicle.
Tommy got into the backseat of his car . I knew this was useless, but I would not allow him to take my son’s childhood from him…
He is still very young, why would he spend his childhood learning art when he should be making friends and adjust to this new environment…
I waved at Freddie as the car drove out of sight.
It would be a boring day for me without my son….I just knew that.
Slowly, I walked back into the mansion and I started climbing the stairs that led to the entrance, a car drove in and I turned around.
I recognized the lady immediately…
“Hello, Mrs . Lyon.” She greeted, advancing towards me.

“How..how is Vincent? I am so sorry about the last time…I didn’t know my husband will react like that….”
“Hmm..mmm. That is forgotten. Vincent is so sweet. He doesn’t hold grudges.”
“Thank you. Would you like to come in?”
“Urm…no. I just came to drop these.”
She dipped her hand in her bag and came up with the two pictures that I have been looking for.
“Why did you take them?” I asked suspiciously, collecting them from her.
“Oh! Excuse me. I am not a thief okay. I don’t know how they ended up in my bag. Must be a mistake or something. Anyways, I realized and I brought them back….”
I wasn’t buying that but there was no possible reason why she could have take them….
“So, how is Freddie?”
Ok>.what is this? She doesn’t even like us, why asking?
“He just left with Tomyy. Why?”
“Nothing. Just hoped I would see him here.”
“ He’s started an art class at the Lyon’s gallery so he’s gone there?”
“An art what? That’s insane…he’s just six.”
I swallowed but I kept mute. It was none of her business even though she was right.
“Well, Vincent wanted me to check on him. He is afraid of coming over because of your scary husband.”
We both were now quiet. I just wanted her to leave…we were no friends….
“Anyways. I will tell Vince the boy is fine…so….”
“Ho w is Vincent?” I quickly asked.
She smiled and shrugged. “He’s just fine…..and safe. “
She emphasized on the last word but I gave no reaction.
“Please, is there a way I can see him to apologise for the last time. Somewhere away from here?”
She smiled. I knew it was stupid but I just wanted to see this man again for no good reason.
“Well, that is if your husband doesn’t know about it.

“Good then.” She said, bringing out a card and placing it in my hand.”This weekend is fine. Call me when you are ready to come so we can prepare for your arrival.”
“okay, thank you.”
“Alright . Mrs. Lyon….” Then she stopped. “ Would you mind terribly if I start calling you Anika?”
I faked a smile and shook my head. “No by all means.”
“Alright then Anika, Do Take care.”
I watched her walked back to her car and drove off.
I shook my head. Something was so off about this lady but I wouldn’t let it bother me or ….should it?

She was driving with one hand and holding the phone with the other hand.
“Hello Shrek….yea….I will get the DNA sample this weekend…no, the DNA will come to me actually….” She giggled. “Yea, it’s perfect like that.”
