Unholy Condemnation - Episode 2

 

The Neon lights shows brilliantly across the entrance of the super market; displaying various kinds of colourful letters and figures that meant little to Ikenna as he parked his Toyota Land cruiser in a parking lot a few distance away from the super market.

He walked towards the entrance with an expressionless face, his mind occupied with the recent happenings that got him really worried.

He had went to the NCC office with hope of securing a minor road contract but the chairman had saddled him with a Federal contract.

It was a joint cargo Airport contract which NCC were the major contractors.

The project will enable his small company to foresee the building of the staff quarter residences including installation of electronics appliances and road construction.

He was to work alongside 2 Chinese companies in the multi million dollar contract.

Ikenna strolled into the super market, selected a small basket and began to pick items.

He wanted to get busy with something else for the time being and cook his own meal that evening.

This will make him to forget about the project and relax his brains ahead of the job.

He selected a few provisions and went to the counter to pay.

He met a young girl behind the counter calculating groceries for the customers.

A fat man stood in front of her as she tumbled the items on the computer.

Ikenna admired the way she handled each items.

She was small, dark and extremely beautiful.

She was putting on a white top with flower designs at the chest and simple denim trousers that showed off her little curves.

Her bright eyes sparkles like stars and her lips glistening with a oil wet lipstick.

She settled the fat man, gave him his receipt and turned to Ikenna.

"Welcome sir." She smiled at Ikenna and his heart did a somersault.

What a beautiful captivating smile she got there.

He slowly dropped the shopping basket on the counter and watched her with keen interest as she carefully calculate each items.

He wanted to tell her how beautiful she is but he's never good in toasting women.

Despite his good looks, he often felt shy in the presence of ladies and Tony's adventurous lifestyle made him to dislike talking to women and prompted him to stick with one girl which is Janet.

Such an unlucky choice, Janet is a wild cat and happens to be Tony's immediate younger sister.

She is a model and think Much of her body than her future.

She was the one who seduced Ikenna and sneaked into his lonely life.

She knew his weakness and explore him like a probing miner.

This whole thing made Ikenna to keep to himself most times and seldom talk to girls because of her sour experience with Tony's sister.

"Here sir."

The girl said.

Ikenna snapped out of his thought and looked at the extended hand holding the nylon bag that contained his purchase.

Lean, smooth and chocolate hand with well manicured fingers.

He took the nylon bag and his hand slightly touched the warm finger of the girl.

She smiled sweetly and waved him off.

Ikenna felt a nudge from his behind and look around, that was when he noticed he was delaying two short ladies waiting for their turn.

He moved off through the revolving door and out in the open, restraining himself from turning to stare at the girl for a second time.

The slight heat from the setting sun reminded him he must go home and cook his dinner.

If only she can come over and cook his dinner! It will be an unforgettable experience watching her as she move around his kitchen.

He reached the car park, walked towards his SUV, entered the car and sat there with his hands gripping the steering wheel.

There is something about that girl that made her to be attracted to him like a magnet.

No girl has ever made such an impact on him.

He felt his palms turned moist and wiped them with a handkerchief.

'Behave like an adult you moron and go home. You have a lot to do

He eased the car out of the parking lot and drove towards the road that led to his house.

He made a quick decision not to think about the girl again and he will even stop going there to buy groceries but knew it was a useless decision for by this time tomorrow, he will be on his way to the super market for a second look at the girl and perhaps, summon enough courage to talk to her.
