"would you care for a drink to night?"

she asked whining her eyes. Harry sunk his right hand into his trouser pocket before replying.

"i would Love to but i don't think i would be chanced for this evening because I got something important to do at home. Will you be okay if we leave it some other time?"

he asked trying as much as he can to sound polite. "okay then, you've made a promise remember?"

she replies . he just nodded and watched her leave. He then turned and headed straight out of the building. He met another surprise out side. There was a new Honda CRV at the car lot which was near the Gate. On the bonnet of the car Sat Owen who was accompanied by two of his diabolic looking friends. Harry stood dumbfounded as he watch them muttering and giggling and he was sure they were referring to him. "surprise? He is mistaking me for a Ghost!"

Owen said out loudly and his companion exploded into laughter. This is one of the things Harry abhorred most in his life. He does every thing he could in order to Stay away from embarrassment. He quickly made haste to move away from them so as to avoid being an object of caricature.

"hey, moving away? That's not an acknowledgeable way of welcoming some one who you haven't seen for three years. Especially someone who had left with you some thing valuable to look after."

Owen blurted as he yanked off his car

. Harry stood motionlessly as he approached

"what can i do for you?"

he beckoned.

"what can you do for me?" Owen redirected his question "can you offer any thing tangible if not stealing from me?" He added and his friend increased the volume of their laughter. Harry was now growing from embarrassment to irritation. He folded his fingers into a fist with his vein urging him to lend the talking fool a punch. However he made effort to avoid him again by moving away but Owen held his left hand which hitched him from moving further. "not so soon" Owen sounded.

"i can see you are prepared for trouble?" Harry sneered yanking his hand off his. His companions now came further to them.

"relax, have you forgotten i left with you something precious to look after for me" he smirked and harry kept shooting a dagger stare at him. "now I came here to inform you that i am back. Stay away from Mirabell if you don't want any problem" Owen threatened hoping it made an impact on him. Surprisingly , Harry erupted into laughter and they glared at him in bewilderment wondering if a nut has loose from his brain.

"wow, Owen, you never stop amazing me. Which version of threat is this one nah? Or did you think i will be affrighted with your body guards. Put that behind you my dear , you are definitely mistaking"

Harry ejaculated Ebullently when he was done laughing

"look man, i am not joking. You Better stay away from her..." Owen started. "never will i do that" "you better do that in peace other wise , you do that in pieces!" Owen Screamed grabbing the collar of his shirt and shaking him vigorously. "what is going on here?" the security man interrupted. Owen was forced to let go of Harry immediately. "a word is enough for the wise. Better stay clear" he warns finally and then headed to his car as his companion joined.

SEEN FROM MIRABELL'S POV

Mirabell can't hear of any other issue at home if not for the special Guests who are coming to their house during weekend. His father had made it evident that she must be present. He had also financed all she needed in order to be flamboyant and extremely attractive to their guest. She wondered why she had to be on her best and why her parents are so desperate. They always explicate when ever she asked who the visitors were that it is going to be a pleasant surprise. Finally, there came the Long awaited Saturday. Their house was perfectly decorated and several palatable and mouth-watering dishes was prepared.

. Seeing the exorbitant preparation , she wondered if they are welcoming a guest or organizing a marriage ceremony. She was in her room when she heard a car hunking outside their gate. She peeped through the window and saw the gate keeper opening the gate. Shortly five different huge and expensive cars drove into their compound. Their glasses were all tinted black. When they had parked at the car- lot, she saw armed police officers jumping down from the helux which was the first car that had drove into the compound. According to what she saw so far, she knew that their guests were extremely rich. She closed the window and sat down waiting patiently for the time when her present would be needed. It didn't take long before she heard her name from the sitting room. She got down to meet the Billionaire, Mayor Lucas Morgan and his handsome son Frank Morgan. Who returned from California few days ago.
