- "is she there with you?"

Felix asked.

"yes"

"give her the phone"

he demanded Hugo did as his boss has commanded

"hello Felix , how are you?"

Felix heard her sweet feminine voice asking

"i am fine. How about you?"

"same here . Hope there is no problem at home?"

she asked with a heart-felt concern.

"not a problem"

he grinned wider. She had no idea on the positive impact of her voice on him.

"Hope you have eaten something?" she asked with a voice soft with affection. "not yet. I will just go to the kitchen and eat" he replied her.

"okay"

"but you shouldnt bother about me. I am fine."

he retorted.

"why shouldn't i when i had a bad dream about you yesternight. I don't want to loose you"

she uttered.

"and you will never loose me. Just get better and i will be happy." "okay" Mercy gave the phone back to Hugo who spoke with his bass voice. 

"hello Boss"

"Hugo. Take care of her

Hugo concluded and the call disconnected.

"wow, is she the one?"

Mirabell asked with a puppy eye.

"yes"

he blurted.

"my brother is in love ooo"

she exclaimed.

" please leave me joor"

he retorted --- not more than soon, Mirabell left for her own room and Felix was left alone to ponder on the the events of his life.

He don't understand why his father of all people should be bent on preparing a welcome party for the daugther of his business Partner. Perhaps, he has long forgotten about Her.

So asking him to prepare a welcome party for her is a complete disturbance to him.

His father must have something behind that curtain which he suspects to be against his wish. - Nevertheless , the next day arrived.

It was Monday.

Felix couldn't wait to see Mercy's face.

He had became addicted to her in such a little time he spent with her.

To him , the night was long and boring because he couldn't sleep.

He kept thinking about her through out the night.

If not about what to do to make her happy so she could smile for him in return then about how to avenge her on the death of her family.

- Before 7:30am , he was already dressed up to leave the house.

He locked his door and went down stairs toward the main door but before he could turn the knot, he heard his father's mean Voice behind.

"Felix where are you going so early this morning?"

chief Gavin asked as he walked into the sitting room.

He still have his pyngamas on. He must probably be waking up at that time.

"Good morning Dad. I want to check out a friend."

Felix replied.

"you Are going no where.

. You will be here with me to plan on Martina's Welcome Party. She's coming back From Germany tomorrow being Tuesday and her welcome party will be on Wednesday,"

the older man enunciated.

Felix complied although it was against his desire , its too early for him to start arguing with his father.

He just turned around, went up the stairs opened the door of his room , went in and laid on his bed till his present was needed.

He couldn't leave the house til Wednesday because of the welcome party.

He was in the sitting room drinking and discussing with his family as they waited for the Arrival of Martina and her family .

- "son , i know you will be elated to see your long time wife"

chief Gavin winked at his son who was busy with his phone.

Felix beamed in acknowledgment to what his father said.

How ever , Chief gavin asked further after sipping from his glass cup.

"son, you will graduating in Few months time?,and their is work already waiting for you"

he sounded more serious than he is

"yes dad"

Felix replied suspending his Phone so he could hear what his father was about to say clearly with out distractions.

"if you fail to plan, you have definitely planned to fail."

Chief Gavin asserted.

"that's correct"

Felix nodded still hoping to arrive at the same direction with his dad. "so you definitely need to plan"

"what are we planning again Dad? We spent the whole Monday and Tuesday in planning for today, what again do will need to plan?"

Felix found him self asking irritatedly. He has sacrificed over wroght time to suit his father's wish but then , planning on other things is just asking too much from him.

"you need to plan your future. What do you intend to do after meeting Martina Today?"

Chief Gavin postulated. Felix raised his brows at him As he tried to reply but was distracted by the gate keeper who ran inside like some one being chased by a masquerade.

"sir they are here ,"

he panted

"okay let them in" the chief bossed. Seconds later , Mr.Edmund entered the decorated sitting room with his wife and daugther.

The whole of Gavin's family stood as they welcomed their guests. Felix found himself lost in Martina's eyes.

He kept staring at her and she did the same. Beyond the shadow of doubt, she is very beautiful to the extent of comparing to a river Goddess.
